favs

definitely not an exhaustive list. will eventually write an effusive note for each one 👍

first game that i remember finishing :') i've replayed the og spyro trilogy about a zillion times and they still don't get old, it's so SO special to me
this game is so 2005 (affectionate) (mostly)
i was only gonna say that i spent way more time tossing pigs around than i ever did sailing but then i realized that’s more of a reflection on myself than it is the game. anyway yeah i love water and treasure hunting

ALSO this introduced some of the most lovable characters in the whole series, most notably beedle (!!!)
ultimate comfort game. hamster love can and will save the world
this one is great because you can become much more powerful in battle by taking a dog for walks. but then there are also the horrors
genuinely don't know where i'd be without this series tbh. it's helped me out during tough times and let me make friends when i really needed them. chose this game specifically because i'm pretty sure i put the most hours into it, plus i loved getting to do little fetch quests for my neighbors all the time <3
first pokemon game!! pretty foundational for me, in that it encouraged my penchant for observing and documenting animal behaviors in their natural habitats. also funny turtle eat an apple 🍎
funny turtle eat an apple in hd 🍎
if [SPOILER REDACTED], then why

simon
ok so i need to replay this in order to write an actual note-review for it but man i LOVED the monkey radar in this one
a nostalgia fueled pick for sure. but this series did awaken my love for spooky stuff at the tiny age of 7 so i do have to HAND it to it (get it) (because you can play as a hand in this) (...)
remake of my first main pokemon game! this one got me back into the series after missing out on sinnoh. i am one of those people that believes that pokemon following behind you was one of the most charming gimmicks game freak has ever added. taking my 17 foot tall legendary out for a stroll allows me to form a bond far stronger than any training could
