mine my beloved but also combat bad :(

A relatively fun addition to the huge catalogue of Gundam video games yet again killed by horrible decision making at almost every stage from Bandai.

The fact that the PC version's servers are still completely broken to the point of the game barely being playable, almost half a year since the game released is absolutely unacceptable. Bandai's complete and utter incompetence at managing the Gundam IP when it comes to Video Games has killed both this game and Gundam Evolution, barely giving either time to exist.

Overall a very good game, but has a few major issues holding it back. Mainly the lack of manual saving and multiple slots as well as the game basically telling you nothing of how to do anything. Music is absolutely fire though.

raphael casually having one of the hardest themes of all time

I have pretty mixed opinions on this game, on the one hand, it has my favourite combat of any RGG game by far. Takes the style system introduced in Yakuza 0 (technically Kenzan but whatever) and perfects it. The side content is pretty good too, not the best RGG Studio has done but still a good outing.

However, when we get into the main story is where the problems arise. I don't even know if I can place it, but I was just nowhere near invested in this game's story as I was for the first Judgment, finding the Mole and bringing him to justice to try and save a man on death row was much more engaging and (imo) better handled than the story of Lost Judgment.
Yagami constantly mentioning Sawa-sensei every cutscene drove me absolutely insane and almost the entire mystery being solved just past the half-way line put a pretty bitter taste in my mouth. Also, the characters that were introduced in this game were much less compelling than characters like Kuroiwa, Ayabe and Hamura.
However, Kuwana is great, love that guy.
Really hated how the ending was kinda just "yeah they all went to jail ok cool bye"

Overall I do love this game a lot, the story was still pretty good (especially for an RGG game) but to me just fell short narratively in a lot of ways compared to the first Judgment. In pretty much every other aspect though I would say it exceeds it.

Excited to play the Kaito Files, and will probably come back to the main game to platinum it or at least finish all the side content.

exaggerated swagger of a mediocre story thats like 10 minutes long
combats fun tho
stealth is way too easy with the camouflage

stand back Ashley, this Resident is getting Evil

the real survivor was the game trying to survive not hard freezing on Koboh (it did not manage)

stop nerfing everything that is fun

Stormblood as a whole is a rather... okay addition to the world of FFXIV, but it's carried heavily by the Azim Steppe storyline and post-Stormblood. Those final quests leading up to Shadowbringers are the best this game had to offer at the time.
The rest of the expansion is somewhat lacking, aside from Zenos and a few of the other new characters.
I did, however, enjoy my time in Doma quite a lot.

Heavensward is where FFXIV really starts to take off. A unique premise in a war between man (or elf.. things I guess?) and an unaging race of dragons with many emotional moments that hit pretty hard.
Yes it's not perfect, but I haven't seen better narrative in an MMO than FFXIV.
