This game is my happy place. Every summer I boot it up there's a million new things to discover or another cute thing to put me into a frenzy. Making me care about every character in a game where Cove is the lead is a massive accomplishment. The art and sound of this game is so cute and welcoming, and the writing for both the causal interactions and the intimate ones are just chefs kiss.

There is no other game like this one and my hat goes off to the entire development team, you truly made something unforgettable. I know I wont.

I'm sorry to say it everyone, but this is it. This isn't just peak mario, this IS MARIO.

Anyone who says that this is a bad smash bros is lying to you

they didnt just beat the new soup alligations, they destroyed them

- Amazing graphics and artstyle
- Really fun and challenging stages
- New enemies and obstacles are all over the place
- Massive amounts of exploration and secrets (open areas i love you)
- Wonder flowers are really good gymniks (and are optional!!!!)

We won mario bros

game is fantastic, chapter 9 can suck my balls

Sonic Frontiers isnt perfect by any means but this is well worth its 60 dollars and I would gladly play it all over again. The feeling of running open world with sonic was so well designed, cyberspace and finishing were nice distractions, and the story truly makes me care about sonic and the world again. The Final Horizons update and other patches recieved across the year makes this one of the most passion-filled games I received from a Triple Astudio. Sonic is back, but he better stay for next game.

They couldve just made a generic 3D Kirby and we all wouldve eaten it up, but they just HAD to make one of the greatest 3D platformers ever made. that's crazy

I wish I could enjoy this game more. Really level designs and gimmicks with an amazing movement system and animations. Unfortunately, bosses were extremely hard for me and be unnecessarily strict when it didn't need to be. Will probably hit more on a replay but isn't perfect by any means.

As a kid, I used to play Sonic 2 and 3 all the time, and it made me love 2D platformers. A spiritual sequel to those games felt unthinkable, but for it to exist and not only to be made by the community but to surpass those original games feels mindboggling. Yet after many many replays, I'm glad to call this my favorite sonic game ever.

Also the ost is better than all your favs combined

played it for two hours then shut it off, how anyone can like it is beyond me. easily the worst game in the franchise, actual dogshit

For being the first game in the franchise you'd think things would feel dated and clunky compared to the rest of the franchise. But it's actually surprisingly underrated?? Like the story is really charming, and the gameplay gets better and better the longer it goes on. Better than alot of people give it credit for.

A game that simply gets better the longer it progresses. What starts as a game with an impeccable vibe and strong writing ends up becoming an extremely strong story about moving on. A must-play.

I can't get over how good this game is sometimes. Like even when sticking to the same build over and over, the variety of weapons, the movement, the combat the exploration, THE REPLAYABILITY??? Absolute masterpiece
