The best version of a timeless classic back from when games were for men not boys. No one has ballz these days.

Arguably peak fiction, no man can name 1 flaw with this first example of the Japanese truly understanding their own people, as well as understand the nature of art and even reality itself, if you need to do a little soul searching play this game, you will find your reason.

At times we must purge things from this world because they should not exist. Even if it means losing someone that you love.
This port is terrible from the audio issues to the driving, it runs better than ps3 but the cutscenes now look like they were downloaded from youtube and then recompressed 8 more times. It also removes all the added content from directors cut. I love this game but this port should not exist in this state.

An odd mix of bomberman act zero and a puzzle game, this obscure Japan and Europe PS2 game combines tedious puzzles with terrible enemies that just sit there and let you bomb them, however the cel-shaded visuals are nice for an early ps2 game. The story is generic and why I mentioned act zero earlier, as they are both a tale of bioengineered people with bombing powers in a sci-fi future.

The first example of video games as an art form, pipo was too good for us, a true hero.

Xenoblade chronicles 0, inspired every other game known to man, the original perfect sequel, and the true final fantasy 7 remake. The one game that can rival the innovation and ambition of doctor hauzer. You can not find a more perfect game.

Takes disc swapping to a whole other level, people complain about riven, at leas that doesnt have 7, 8 if you're on saturn. Besides that its okay, kind of interesting story wise but I wouldn't recommend it.

Okay game, fills the classic style jrpg role for the platform just fine it has nice music, balanced gameplay, and quality visuals. Its not as ambitious as something like team innocent but at least its more than just motion jpeg with button prompts.

Looking back it's pretty meh, combats okay if a little below average because of the clear distinction between single and multiple enemy attacks. The open world is okay, pretty generic open world stuff with its slew of markers. On a technical level its impressive but the actual art style and direction isn't great so I feel it'll age much worse than its stylized contemporaries. The stealth sections felt tedious and unnecessary, while there are not many of them they still mess with the flow of the game. The story and characters aren't bad but the pacing of the plot feels all over the place, which is in part due to insomniacs recent obsession with conforming to a 3 act structure. On the bright side the web swinging was cool and the unlockable suits were neat. Overall the game only slightly stood out in a sea of open world, skill tree loving, action adventure games that flood the market these days.

Very impressive for the hardware, too bad it doesn't play well

Powerful Wario Game 2004
(I played the Japanese version which is slightly better and also comes with stickers, +1 star)

I want to kill Chaos. I need to. It's not a hope or a dream. It's like a hunger. A thirst.
