Not a fan of kirbys stretch marks on the pause screen but otherwise pretty great

You know this is game is great when it won a Grammy 25 years after release

If nobody got me, I know Sir Slippy got me. Can I get an amen?

cute! there are definitely issues I have with this game, enemy respawn rates, certain bosses, some copy abilities, etc. but man looking back on it I had lots of fun. This also looks and sounds amazing for a nes game! it's crazy how this feels like the first game in the series by how MUCH it introduced to the entire series.

This ripped off Spring Breeze from kirby super star. smh.

Get your bitch ass elden ring out of here and play a real man's game like this.

Kirby is a series while I have not played many of the games I have loved for most of my life, having played super star at a very young age and continuing to replay it every now and then. Forgotten land brings me joy as super star and other kirby games have. allowing the game to be on 3d makes the combat, platforming, and puzzles much needed depth and makes them all the more rewarding. Controls also feel great, fighting helpless enimes and flying around has never felt better, the graphics amd music are top-notch as well. I get the sentiment that they should've had more copy abilities but I honestly think it's for the better here, the more limited pool of abilities allows for hyperfixing on how each one controls and feels, making them great to play around and actually expirement with. In other kirby games I've played, I usually just stick to the main abilities I like, youll with a handful of abilities barely getting used by the end, you'll almost never see me with the fire ability in kirby super star, but with forgotten land I actually want to expirement more, maybe one ability would be better for a certain challenge, or for a specific boss. The games not perfect, some challenges could've been more balanced or thought out, and this game can get pretty difficult at times, especially so for a kirby game, so much it kind of leans on being unfair at certain points, but these moments don't bring the entire experience for me at all, I had a blast and a dumb smile on my face the whole way through. Make sure you 100% the game too, not only is it rewarding and some of the most fun I've had with 100%ing a game in while, but it has some of the most insane series of final levels and bosses I've played in a kirby game yet.

why don't you turn OFF the world and get some bitches?

This was really great! The main battle mechanics are pretty neat and flow well, some puzzles couldve been better however. The game looks awesome too, the sketchy style this game goes for is so great. The story for the most part is my main issue with the game, moreso the ending of the story. The world OFF creates is wonderful, learning about what makes the world tick from character dialogs in their own unique ways is a joy, but the big twist of 'your a father destroying your childs escapist reality' really comes out of nowhere by the end of the game, i feel like it could've been implemented more smoothly into the game. If you got 6-8 hours to spare on a game tho, this definitely isn't a bad pick by any means! also worth playing just to hear the main battle theme lol

Booster Pass Cups 1&2

Wtf why are the Tour stages the best ones dude? all of the courses are pretty banger, except for the toad one, is just alright. Graphically speaking yea it could definitely be better but I like it fine enough and the courses are still really fun otherwise. awesome music as always too. 8/10

still amazing on replay, everything another chapter of this game needed to be.

Replayed this already a few days after the first time beating it because its so fun and the story and characters are amazing. This game is a masterpiece and one of the best ever made.

I mean, what can I say about earthbound? it's funny, subversive, and most of all fun. I love this little world the game has, one of my favorite parts of the game is just talking to people, its like a game in of itself and your reward is a funny joke or a hint on what to do next, something ive never really seen in a game before lol. I love this games combat system, it's so random and fun to toy around with; it can definitely lead to annoyanced however. Speaking of, this game isn't perfect, the enemy spawnrate is really high, your inventory is crowded most of the time, but for every mistake earthbound makes, it does 10 great things.

one of the only good things to come out of the UK

I've said for a while now that this is my least favorite game ever, although I said that without finishing the game. So I decided, to finish the game and get my true thoughts. It's still my least favorite game ever made. I'll give the game credit where it's due however, the artstyle and animation is stellar, I love the look of it, just wish It was in a better game. Going on to my gripes however, the games biggest issue is its control. Say what you will about the original super meat boy or the end is nigh, but at least I feel like those games are fair, yknow if you mess up, you, the person in control, feel like it was, and it makes you feel like you grow as a player, due to super meat boy forever auto run set-up however, I never feel in control, or responsible for any deaths I take, the level design doesn't help either, it always feels cramped and better fit for a game that isn't an auto runner it also loves to through unnecessarily tight jumps and having to do them at the very last moment, opposed to having an actual fun challenge. The games random generation is also a big problem, not only does it feel like the levels are disjointed, it also makes the levels difficulty, rather than a smooth line, like a roller coaster. One thing that makes the original SMB (and the end is nigh) fun is their brief levels, they offer bursts of challenge, rather than a gauntlet, which is why the one after the other long challenges, like the warp zones, are the worst parts of the original SMB, but here, every level is 5 times the size of your average meat boy level, it causes levels to drag on and on while not having much variety through out, not helped by the randomly generated levels. All in all, the game does everything worse than the og meat boy, worse control, levels, design, the only thing it does better imo, is the artstyle. It's my least favorite game for those reasons, if you want an actual meat boy 2, just play the end is nigh. Hope team meat does better on their next attempt.
