A good revival game for the series, and my first Fire Emblem game, but looking back on it, it was not as great as I once thought it was. Still pretty fun, though

My friend told me this was one of the best game ever and I didn't believe him at first, but then I played it and it turns out it was.

Really fun game with a ton of content, but the end game leaves something to be desired

It's basically just five 2+ hour long Homestarrunner cartoons, which are all great. The only issue is you can no longer obtain this legally anymore, and also The Cheat look weird in 3D

The start of Press Turn combat. While not my favorite SMT game, it still has really good gameplay, and strong atmosphere. The issues I have with it are how demon fusion is pretty tedious if you want to get even a few skills that you want, the story and characters are basically nothing, and a physical build for the main character is so much more viable than magic that it's hardly even a choice as to how you build your character

Gameplay wise, it's almost exactly like DDS1 with a few minor changes and improvements. The story is more batshit, but it's still enjoyable

One half of the best Megami Tensei game. The peak of press-turn combat, and also a really weird an interesting story. Tons of options for party customization, too, even without demon fusion

Bloodborne is a faster paced Souls game with a lot of interesting weapons. I don't think it perfectly executes every idea it has, like bloodvials and quicksilver bullets, build variety is pretty limited, the later bits of the game are best to just run through, and Chalic Dungeons are my bane, but the general gameplay is very good, a lot of the bosses are pretty fun, and most of the trick weapons are very fun to play with.

Dark Souls 3 is one of those games I like, but also has a lot of flaws. It feels more like it's trying to be more like Bloodborne with its enemy design, but you still have the moveset of a normal Souls character, which leads to some frustrating situations at times, the game is very linear outside of a few instances, which is somewhat disappointing compared to other Souls games, and there's quite a few call backs to Dark Souls 1, although it doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother others. It's still fun enough to play through a few times at least

Scholar basically has all the problems of vanilla DaS2, just in different locations. It even has some new problems that original DaS2 doesn't have. Not much else to say that's hasn't already been said about vanilla DaS2 other than some of the new item placements are nice

Dark Souls 2 is a guilty pleasure. I've played this game more times than I should have, mostly thanks to DaS2's larger potential for build variety, but the poor level design, nonsensical world layout, some painfully bad bosses, amateurish animations, and awful aesthetics make me question why I ever put so much time into it.

Dark Souls feels like an improvement on Demon's Souls in some ways, but a step back in others. What Dark Souls has in an interconnected world and more balanced gameplay, it loses in having less interesting locales, less gimmicky and weird weapons and spells, and also feeling derivative of DeS, retreading many ideas from the game. Overall, though, I still think Dark Souls is a great game.

Xenoblade X has a bunch of ideas I wanted to like, but I don't think it executed any of them as well as other games in the series

I wish I liked this game as much as 1, but I just don't for some reason

If the Dawn Brigade didn't suck so bad, this would probably be my favorite FE game, but they do exist, so fuck the Dawn Brigade
