Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - Reunion is a remaster of the game originally released for the PSP. It's an action RPG that tells the story before the events of Final Fantasy VII.

As a remaster, I can say it is a really well-done job. Even after 15 years, the developers took the original game and did a great job adapting it to modern days.

The visuals don't look outdated at all. It could easily be a game released today with a slightly smaller budget. It seems like they used some assets from the remake of Final Fantasy VII, although there's a significant difference between this prequel and the main title.

Regarding the gameplay, I can say that the combat is really enjoyable. The regular fights are quite easy, and you may encounter some difficulty with a few bosses, but nothing to worry about. It's almost like a 3D fighting game; you'll be walking through the stage and encounter enemies, triggering battles.

There are some RPG features that could make character development a bit more complex, but they're not necessary to progress in the game. You just need some basic knowledge about this system to enjoy the game.

As for the story, I really liked it. I never had contact with the original release or the original Final Fantasy VII. I only played the Final Fantasy VII remake before, and I can say that Crisis Core will be very important to the upcoming games of this remake era.

The characters are fun and charismatic, and the story kept me invested throughout.

I played on Nintendo Switch, and the developers did an amazing job with this version. I didn't encounter any problems during my gameplay.

In conclusion, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - Reunion is a great opportunity to introduce this game to a new audience, like myself. It's a really fun game and probably an important story for the next parts of the remake era of Final Fantasy VII.

This remake is exactly the same game as the original. I really don't like it when remakes don't upgrade functionality, but I can forgive it in this game because it is part of the difficulty and challenge. It's very easy in nature but hard in an attempt to push the player to engage in challenging levels. Great graphics and cute aesthetic overall. Play only if you want to know more about classic platform games.

Cute game! I like the paper art style a lot, and the main gameplay mechanic behind the puzzles was a cool idea. Story was nice too. I like how it always kept thinking of new interesting things to add to the puzzles to keep things fresh.
Only issues were that sometimes the specific folds were a little annoying to make, and the game resetting you when you "die" instead of just letting you undo can be annoying

A fold apart is a cute little game with decent puzzling mechanics (that I personally didn’t particularly enjoy) on the outside and a touching story on the inside.
At first glance it deals with a couple suffering the obvious pains of a long distance relationship. But more abstractly it’s about communication, may it be with a loved one, a family member or a friend. Texting has become the new normal not only for millennials. What has been thousands of years of cognitive evolution for our species (where we have learned to process nuanced facial expressions, jittery voices, fearful eyes and tons of other emotions) in order to communicate and build entire civilizations on that foundation, is now stripped down to a couple of bits and bytes. A single written word can often times leave us with an abundance of doubt, misunderstanding and loneliness, even if it’s meant to evoke opposite feelings. You never really know, how something you have written impacted the other person, as you don’t have them in front of you to analyze it.
A fold apart depicts exactly that and leaves me with a scary and weird urge to have more meaningful contact to other humans. You know? With eye contact, hugs and whatnot.

Great presentation and soundtrack. I'm sure gameplay is fun if you can take the time to learn the physics and master the game but I couldn't bring myself to spend any more time after trying a few missions/levels.

I don't have a ton to say about this game, but given it was a bit of an enjoyable surprise I feel sad it has no reviews at all right now, so...yeah. SKYPEACE is a pretty charming and fun, short game! It's pretty simple, arcade-y fun: Get to the end of each stage, collect as many coins and as much treasure as possible and avoid enemies, with a few secrets here and there. It ends up playing a lot like a horizontal shmup but without the shooting, which is interesting in a way. The art style is a cute little "indie anime" style, kinda nice, and the music is honestly kind of a happy-chill banger that got me into the zone to play this game.

The game itself is pretty short, it has 10 stages + a tutorial and will be completed in about 35-40 minutes if you're just trying to beat each stage, but I was rather surprised at the number of achievements on display! There's plenty of standard ones like just beating the level, getting X amount of coins in the level or not getting hit, but there were also some little inventive ones like beating the game only using vertical movement. While the game is quite easy to beat normally, I am going to guess that getting the best ranks is harder as I didn't particularly come close to any S Ranks (I got two A Ranks and eight B Ranks), so there's plenty of room for replayability. And while it is short, the game is also only a dollar, so it's really impossible to complain about the size. I certainly felt like I got my money's worth.

Ultimately, if a simple little arcade-y high score game sounds your speed, I definitely recommend this if you got a spare dollar! I picked it up with eShop coins and felt happy with my purchase. It was apparently a little 20th anniversary project for the company, so maybe that's why it feels like it has a little extra heart put into it.

Oh boy, this game was so much fun and had me shedding tears by the end of it.

Gameplay is amazing too, greatly improved from the first one.

There's no words for me to describe how much I enjoyed this game.
Great story, combat, characters, music, etc.

Would recommend everyone to play this masterpiece.

This game, it's story is so amazing and not at all of how I imagined it would be. One of the best early JRPG I have played that has a story that I wanted to keep on playing to see how it would end.
