First of all im not a huge fan of old JRPGs. The combat often times feels like a chore and the plot often just feels very blanc. Chrono Trigger on the other hand changed a lot of that. Characters and the story as a whole were very well written und had a lot of depth to it. Combat was exciting and pretty to look at. Nonetheless I had a lot of passages during my playthrough that still felt boring and made me just want to get finished with this game so I can write it off my backlog. Overall I enjoyed my time with ChronoTrigger, I understand how groundbreaking it was when it was released BUT if you don't have the endurance and the curiosity to experience old 16 bit JRPGs for 15+ hours this game is not for you. Although praised everywhere and doing a whole lotta stuff right I cannot call it a favorite game of mine.

At first I was very impressed how much detail was put into every aspect of the game. Gorgeous animations, beautiful sprites for the fish and an overall very polished look. The first few hours of gameplay were very exciting since every new fish encounter meant a new sushi for my restaurant. But this gameplay loop between restaurant management and fishing for new fish gets pretty boring pretty soon. To break that monotonous cycle a lot and I mean A LOT of mini games were spread all around the game. Most of these are fun little games that once again are enjoyable to play 1 or 2 times but also just get annoying after some time. It also has horrible Bossfights. The characters were well written and had a good amount of humor to them but the story overall was very boring and didn't motivate me to keep on playing at all. After more than 18 hours and just about to enter the glacial area I decided to quit. Too boring, too time consuming, too many fucking mini games.

Best 2D Mario I've ever played. Great variety between easy "feel good" levels and hardcore challenges. Fun to play with your girlfriend but sadly I feel like I've gotten too old to enjoy it playing alone. Maybe gonna pick it up again in between other games. Overall very good.
Edit:
I've gotten 100% now and this game has absolut no flaws. Perfect game for every age group with an insane amount of detail and clever ideas. Of course, the story lacks depth
but you wouldn't expect that from a 2D platformer.
Absolutely brilliant and peak video game state of the art.

Fun game, boring boss fights, annoying Ashley, but live love laugh Ada <3

Felt more like a book than a video game. Best written dialogue I've ever seen in an rpg but there is almost no gameplay. No real combat, nothing to "play" really. You walk around talking to people, finding new stuff trying to solve the murder. Sounds boring but my god was it fun. The jokes were on point, the issues Harry has feel real and world building works perfectly. Only problem I have is the gameplay it self. It feels unpolished and coordinating Harry on the PS5 was hard. Very hard. Probably should have played it on PC.
Overall I rly enjoyed the game and making Harry an absolute maniac of a communist definitely hit my socialist heart + I got to 360° kick Measurehead and kill a guy with my tie.
9/10 would recommend if you enjoy reading.

Lots of blood, bad jokes, naked skin and annoying companions.
Quite enjoyable indeed.

was about to give it 5 stars but fuck the V.II Snail and Walter fight + the liberation of rubicon ending is super underwhelming + horrific camera against fast enemies.
Other than that awesome game with awesome mech designs.

solid gameplay, repetitive world, fun combat, superficial story.......... what stood out the most were the women I had intercourse with!!!!! (((((: #lesbosforever<3

spent more than 150 hours playing GTA Online over the years before ever completing the Story once and I deeply regret it. GTA V is an amazing game that does almost everything right. Only problem I had was the huge amount of plot holes the story has. You've got those incredibly well written characters and dialogues which end up getting overshadowed by the sheer nonsense the overall story is about. The missions just kind of feel off when you only want to get rid of some FIB data and end up blowing up a 53 floor high building killing hundreds of people for a guy who you apparently can't get rid of because you'll get in jail otherwise, but then he can be killed in the end through the power of friendship without getting into jail for it I guess??? Plus the whole Agency vs FIB power struggle with a random bit of Merryweather in it to tie the whole story together didn't work out for me at all. Just felt too made up, too cliché and overall pretty boring.
Other than that this game is a masterpiece which presents a perfect parody of America in the early 2010s.

Definitely the weirdest game ive ever played.
Its all so awkward, utterly confusing and overall just janky, but I had a lot of fun with it.
The art style with its pseudo 3d rooms containing of simple sprites that don't rly fit the perspective when you look around the room is so unique, that I just had to fall in love with it.
The story had so many absurd and unpredictable plot twists, that I can't even tell if its genius or literally just absolut nonsense. What I can say for sure is, that you get attached to the characters really fast although most of them are just full of stereotypes and the music is really good.
Overall this game is a shitty mess with mediocre sprites, superficial but lovable characters, simple but solid gameplay elements and WAY WAYYYY TOO MANY SEXUAL COMMENTS FROM A TEDDYBEAR. I love it :)

locked myself out of the Edelgard route so I see no reason to keep on playing...
Didn't really enjoy the first 11 chapters anyway. I understand why a lot of people love this game and I was obsessed with it for the first 15 hours myself, but the gameplay got boring pretty fast and the story, although it has its interesting moments, did not convince me to spent another 30+ hours in this world without being able to explore Edelgards motives further, which of course is my bad after all.
Maybe I will pick it up sometime in the future and explore whichever route I got in the end but for now Im done with Fire Emblem Three Houses and I sadly gotta say I would not recommend it.
Edit:
I have now completed the silver snow storyline and my opinion about this game has not changed. It has fun combat for the first few hours and a decent story to keep a narrative between the fights but if you don't fall in love with the fighting aspect you are going to have a hard time enjoying this game.

Interesting concept but very poorly executed. Feels like talking to a pretentious philosophy student while the booze starts to kick in real funky.
Ps. watch out for humongus slices of cheese.

above average Soulslike which shamelessly copies Bloodborne in almost every aspect. I rly enjoyed the forgiving difficulty but could not have cared less about the pseudo philosophical story about being and becoming human. Its a great game but nothing groundbreaking.

It's a cute little game with some sweet riddles but overall nothing super exciting. I enjoyed the story, it has a few nice twists and was the main reason for me to keep on playing. The riddles should have been implemented better into the world instead of just being random Sunday magazine riddles. Maybe future titles fixed these issues. Overall I had a fun time.

With a rating of 4.5, I expected something groundbreaking. What I got was an above-average story with below-average drawings. The ost was indeed amazing and perfectly set the mood for every new story. I personally would have preferred it to end after Door 4 maybe 5. The last 3 doors kind of dragged themself and I just wanted to be done with it, the first 3 doors were amazing on the other hand.
Overall it may be an amazing visual novel, I can't decide that since it's pretty much my first vn, but if you are looking for a good game because of the rating you are at the wrong address. You will be reading corny dialogues for at least 35 hours straight.
