Very mid Mega Man game. I love the terrible VA. Pretty unremarkable overall. You can jump and shoot, that's all you need.

This might be my favorite aesthetic for Mega Man. The sprites are pretty big but it's not usually a huge issue. I think the game feels real nice. I'm a fan of the music. Don't like the Wily Castle at all.

A solid entry that came out at the ass end of the NES lifespan. It's hard to describe but you can FEEL that fact. A mature game by NES standards, but also phoned in to some degree since the SNES was coming in hot. Cool robot masters and ideas. The adaptors in the last levels get really obnoxious.

I really love 5 despite its flaws. It is my favorite NES Mega Man game. The buster is OP and makes the game a fair bit easier, as a lot of enemies will die to one charge shot. The robot master weapons are pretty bad overall but I still find enjoyment in trying to use them anyway. Whenever I need a Mega Man fix I can boot up this game and run through some stages and enjoy the music. It's the coziest mega man game.

Mega Man 4 is where these games really started to settle in. The quality of the games gets more consistent from this game forward. Unfortunately I find the content of this game more forgettable than any other classic Mega Man. It feels like an awkward middle child to me. Fun nonetheless and I think it's objectively better than 1-3.

This was my favorite of the first 6 Mega Man games for a long time and I still have a soft spot for it. The game's development was supposedly a nightmare and it shows with how the game runs and the level designs. However, I still find this game more enjoyable than the first two. I like the selection of robot masters, and it has one of the best soundtracks. If this game got the dev time it needed, it would have been really great.

Mega Man 2 is the favorite child of 1-6 but you can tell it's only the second try. By that I mean it beats out the original game but it still has growing pains. These hurt it a lot in my eyes, but it did most of the legwork for the better games to come.

I enjoy every classic Mega Man game, but this one is my least favorite. It was good enough to jumpstart my favorite series so I can appreciate it for that. Mega Man games only get more refined as time goes on.

Not bad. Note my experience may have been affected by me taking a long hiatus half way through the game. The game does a nice job of emulating the original Paper Mario games. Unfortunately, no part of it reaches the same heights. There are a LOT of sidequests, but most of the ones I played were uninteresting. Although I didn't fight every bounty boss, I enjoyed those fights the most. I can recommend this game if you have a Paper Mario shaped hole in your heart.

An enjoyable action platformer. Combat got old after a while and I started avoiding enemies. May have only been because I chose hard mode and enemies were tankier. I like that it's not a metroidvania. Didn't give a single shit about the story. Was able to get 101% in game and achievements before fighting the final boss so that was cool.

More Ape Escape. I appreciate that this feels like a sequel through and through. By that I mean it's a very similar game with slight changes and upgrades. However, I like the first game's style a LOT more.

Make way for the king gtfo Foddy

Game has like, two too many endings. Gameplay overstays its welcome (combat/painting). I personally think it’s kinda ugly to look at. Theres enjoyment to be had but I probably wont revisit this one.

It’s as fun as who you are playing with. It’s easy to grief, so I got frustrated by some people I don’t know too well. Bring your besties.
