I've been on this game for a long time so it's good to finally complete it. This game can be hard as hell sometimes but most bosses usually have a strategy you can use to destroy them with some good team building. This is probably the most fun tactics game I've played, combat feels like a mix between the original games and press turn which is cool. I really like the ending I got for the game as well and made me really enjoy the story. The setting and ost are great too but that's a given with any smt game really. Glad I finally finished this.

I always felt like this is a game I should’ve owned and played when I was younger but that never ended up happening. Decided recently that I wanted to play through it. This game feels almost like fan game in the way it’s presented and even its gameplay. I won’t lie the gameplay can be pretty lame at times. There’s a lot of “go through a level and get told to do some cryptic stuff somewhere near the beginning of the level.” I think the writing more than makes up for it though. This game just has so many moments that got a genuine laugh out of me and it has a solid little main overall. Definitely glad I finally got around to playing this

Finally got in a replay of this game after awhile and my first 100% run at that. This game is really good except for that last round of backtracking to each area, otherwise I enjoy everything else in the game. The motion controls are a little interesting with gyroscope only joycon but they work good enough especially for the nice 60 fps enhancement with the game. Music is also great, wish we could get a new 3D Zelda game that has tracks as memorable as this one.

This remake does a lot of nice things for the original mgs but also does a lot of things I don't like. The tone feels entirely different at times, focusing way to much on action shots compared to the original. The mgs2 controls overall do make the game nicer to play, but stuff like the first person aiming can really make the game way easier than originally designed. Overall give this a try if you want, but PLEASE play the original before even thinking of playing this version. I feel this differs too much from the original mgs in tone and presentation to be the only version experienced.

This game is dookie and not fun a lot of the times. I hope Barry can be put in a good game again one day because he was probably the best part of the game. Claire however got demolished as a character so it evens out in a way unfortunately. Please give these 2 good games in the future.

Wow this game is AMAZING. It's got everything I love about the first 2 mgs games and more. I don't know if I have much more to say this game is just a beautiful experience from start to finish.

Got the random urge to play this which is something I have not done since I bought it years ago. I can't call the game good in decent faith but in the end I still had a lot of fun with it despite some annoying parts in there.

Wow this game is amazing. It brings almost everything I loved about the original minus a couple nitpicks. I know many find the remade tracks to be very hit or miss but I grew to like them after awhile, not to mention that the original tracks are amazing. Gameplay is so much more fun than the original with Tartarus having some more to do and having some more unique environments. I'm still debating if this is my new favorite Persona game, but I'll see what I think after I sit on it for a bit.

I wasn't quite sure what I thought about this game when I beat it other than I knew I liked it more than the first. After thinking on it I REALLY like this game. The gameplay, characters, soundtrack, and story are all better than the first. The atmosphere is great, and the games plot gives you a lot to think about. Amazing experience across the board.

I've had this game since about launch as a kid but just never finished it, glad to say I finally got around to doing so after getting an itch from the Mario RPG remake. I don't have too much to say that hasn't already been said other than I really enjoyed it.

This game probably has some of the best story, characters, and voice acting I will experience from a ps1 game. The gameplay was a lot of fun, it could be little dated at times but I expected that playing a ps1 game. Glad I finally got around to this one.

I respect the hell out of this game for not trying to be super crazy or anything like that. A nice 12ish hour rpg set in the Mario universe with fun mechanics and characters. Along with an amazing soundtrack.

After finally trying out this game after seeing a friend start it and kinda being in a mood for this type of game. Man I'm glad I picked it up. The game has fun combat and characters I enjoyed interacting with. Will probably be something I continue to pick up from time to time to do more side content and go for different endings. I'm still not really sure how I fully feel on the game, but ima leave it with a 4 and a half stars for now.

Just wanted to log that I played this this year. I don't have much to say other than I had some of my favorite multiplayer gaming moments this year on this game and its loop is just addicting overall when you have a good group to play with.

I really wanted to like this game more but man does it have some interesting mechanics. Inventory felt cramped across the whole game even with 2 characters and no item box certainly didn't help. Didn't really care for the replacement of throwing all my shit on the floor either. Also one of the AI practically being forced to take some damage in bossfights cause they gonna do jack shit for dodging. After all that though I will say its not the worst RE I've played. It still felt like a classic RE at the end of the day and that was one aspect I did enjoy about playing it.

Edit: I found out later that you can move the other character with the right stick. I definitely remember them bringing this up and just forgetting about it so we will call it a my bad. Still doesn't really raise my rating at all though.
