Playing a dad ready to anything to cure his daughter was such a strong experience. Especially the ending make me cried my balls out.

When it came out it was a real technical slap to the industry.
Story was excellent with some ballsy twist. I loved the development of the main characters as well.
Gameplay was refined from the first entry but was very similar, nothing much new.
Aside the great main theme, the OST was nice but lacked a bit to me as not really memorable, being mostly atmospheric type rather that orchestral type which I prefer.
Very little pacing issue in the middle game but really Im just being picky complaining about it if im being honest.
A gem for sure.

Living in Japan since years, I was scared of the "Western Vision" from a non-Japanese Studio.
And at my happy surprise, the respect of the japan culture and incredible efforts put to make it believable was breathtaking.
The art direction is GORGEOUS, the Open World is amazing with fun map to explore. The combat system is excellent and never get boring. The story was great and touching.
Finally the OST was not memorable BUT really on point with the atmosphere and era of the game set up.
A real gem.

Back in the day graphics were exceptional as well as the refined turn based fight system.
The story was very touching, with nice characters.
Side activities were also memorable especially the card game collection quest.
