Some fun, old school, firefighting action. I definitely recommend checking out.

It's part of video game history. If you have any interest in that, you should play it.

One of the most beautiful games I have ever played. I often found myself simply agog, staring at the gorgeous scenery and background.

Not overly long, laden with atmosphere and intriguing mystery. Well worth your time if you're a metroidvania fan, or a Dark Souls fan.

I fantastic little point and click game. Extremely well written. I highly recommend playing through the game a second time with the commentary on.

I Love this game. I grew up with this game. A time came a little later in my life where I could just throw this game on and blast through it or nearly through it. Those were good times.

Years later a friend of mine would say that everyone should try to speedrun at least once game. One of the few games that came to mind that I thought I could speedrun was this one, because I hate put so many hours in back in the day. Indeed I was easily able to get on the board with no real training. Months later I would put some training in and study the tactics for it and get a much better record. I hope one day to put a little more time in and maybe break the top 10 on speedrun.com.

This game will always hold several special places in my herart.

If you enjoy QWOP or Getting Over It with Benett Foddy, then you should check this game out. Very similar thing going on.

I have probably replayed this game more times over the years more than any other game. There's nothing else quite like it. The whole vibe so so great, the visuals own, the setting is wonderful. A lot of stuff really fell into place too once I finally read The Jesus Incident by Dune author Frank Herbet. The extensive manual mentions this in the back as one of the primary influences for the story and setting and they aren't lying! If you really love the setting of this game I highly recommend reading The Pandora Sequence series by Herbert, they are wild and amazing.

Incredibly chill and absolutely beautiful. Fantastic times hanging out and exploring. Wonderful little character interactions as well.

I only played enough of this game to figure out when you transform into a ninja and duck you become flat as a board. That was enough for me to remember this game over 20 years later.

I really love the way this game weaves individual stories for your characters. Even though I got kinda tired of it after a few days, particularly I think the combat could be a lot better, I still think what it does that's good is just awesome.

One of the best soundtracks on the NES.

Really cool game, absolutely dripping with atmosphere and vibe. It's like if WWI was written by Frank Herbert and made into a game by the makers of Missile Command.

The game is difficult, frustrating, and quite fun. There is so much more depth than I had the constitution to explore. I wish there was an easy mode honestly but I respect this game so much for being what it is and compromising its vision.

Best part was wasting tiny storm troopers in my big ol' X-wing. They even screamed! Hilarious stuff.

The Art of Learning tutorials in this game are fantastic for learning the fundamentals of chess theory. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in Chess.

Got very close to the end of this game, then I updated my computer from FAT32 to NTFS and the game broke. Returned to it a couple of times since but never got that far again. A pretty good story, but really the world building is what makes this game a gem. Its combat leaves much to be desired and is the reason I can't give it a 5.
