what the fuck
that should be your initial reaction whenever you play anything on this list. expect the majority of these to be from japan. excluding games that are bizarre in a horrific/disturbing way - more so favoring the cutesy/vibrant side of the equation. y'know - stuff like pepsiman and katamari
originally this was titled "weird/'japanese' vibes", but i felt that was too specific and vague at the same time. hopefully that narrows things down

also mii games in general, like tomodachi collection -> tomodachi life, miitopia, even streetpass mii plaza (to a lesser degree)
those work. i'm not gonna add the other mii games beyond tomodachi life cause that just gets incredibly redundant, but i'll add them in a note
