This game is really well made. The sprites and music are great, and it's decently fun, but it's often bogged down by retro game bullshit. Enemies stunning you when you get hit, instant death spikes, instant death pits, it's often not clear whether going down is another room or a death pit, and one of the first levels uses a darkness gimmick that just makes these problems worse.

This game is really cool. I love all the different unique monsters, and I love the music for them. However, I'm not very good with horror games, and playing it was constantly stressful for me. It's really well done, but I never want to return to it.

I absolutely love playing this game with friends. It's fun to fight and solve puzzles together, and the outfits spice up the gameplay with a lot of variety. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to find people to play with nowadays, and the online community is practically nonexistent.

The renting items and merging into walls mechanics are really unique, and while nothing else is done particularly well, they're overall solid enough to combine into a great game.

Still my favorite game in the franchise, mainly because of the masks. Hopping on water and flying with flowers as a deku, rolling around as a goron, and swimming as a zora are all really fun. The myriad of memorable sidequests are neat too, and combined with the three day limit, you need to plan out each day as efficiently as possible. It also has really fun bosses, although the dungeon design can be a bit annoying at times. And please, don't play it on the gamecube like I did.

Better than the first game, but still somewhat unremarkable.

these controls are so clunky how are you supposed to fight anything

There's a ton of content here, and a lot of it is very enjoyable. However, it also means that a lot of that content isn't able to stand out as much compared to other games in the series. The main dungeons in particular, typically the meat of a Zelda game, are very forgettable.

Really fun controls that give a lot of freedom, on top of very polished gameplay compared to the first two collectathons, make this far and away the best one.

Much more enjoyable than 64 when it's working. The only problem is it doesn't work a lot.

It's decently enjoyable, but age was not very kind to it.

While I don't enjoy it quite as much as the first game, it makes a lot of much needed improvements on the mechanics to make this the most well rounded game of the trilogy.

This game is horribly brought down by the caves. Their linear nature and lack of a time limit goes against the design of the first game, they're full of annoying and unbalanced enemies, and there are bombs and rock traps all over the place that punish you for trying to multitask. The multiplayer's fun, though.

This game is so much fun to return to because of how much speedrunning potential there is. My current record is 10 days, but I know for a fact 9 is possible with a bit more optimization. The only thing holding it back is the AI for the pikmin themselves, which can be very clunky and unresponsive.

This will always be one of my favorite games to play with friends. City trial is so fun and replayable, and the standard races are decently fun as well.
