I suck at this game. Glad I got it though.

2018

I adore this game and it got me over the idea of not playing "hard" games - I'm a much better player for it and I didn't even play this on a pro controller!

Kid really wants to keep playing it so I'll have to give in at some point - if she was old enough to have the hand/eye coordination to play herself it'd be another story. I hear people really like it though, so I'm fine giving it more time.

I have Elden Ring now, so this is unnecessary to punish myself with anymore for the time being. Have a good faith knight build tho.

This game is popcorn only and it should be applauded for that. Go beat dudes with a pipe it's so good.
________
Started this up again to give it another shot and as of 9.1.22, this game does look great. There's a substantial improvement in NPC volume and variety around the world and I haven't encountered any bugs just yet. First game to make my PS5 LOUD though - might need to cop a dplate2
---------------

Bought when it was $25 after the "next-gen" update. Played a mission, Jesse clipped through my car then fell on his face as we entered a story mission. It seems like I can have fun with it, but the systems are a little more involved than they need to be for how linear the game feels. I'm glad it's not a crazy Witcher style open world though, that's too much.

Needs some more polish and I'm in no rush.

This is the best game writing that has ever existed. I will replay this game many times.

Sickest music ever - going to play through again, maybe do a replay of FF7R and play this at the appropriate time in the story timeline

Incredible, wish there was some randomization or horde mode to make the arena crazy

Played the demo - waiting for some time and patches and a sale

Haven't played Kasane's line or any DLC yet, but will get back into when the time is right

Great atmosphere and vibe, pleasant to play through. I stopped at the last boss because I kind of burnt myself out too fast. Might pick up to roll credits.

Absolutely love being in the world, but the levels themselves are clunky and weak. Controls really feel unchanged from PS2 era and the physics are a little heavy

Loved it, definitely want to play again or try boss rush

so disappointing that's it's not even functional to play without a group you know - really wanted to play around with the card aspect but can't even play a level
