I'm glad that I managed to get the orignal version of this game on Steam before Rockstar took it down. I'd rather play a low-poly-looking game than something that looks like it was made on the dime in Unity.

This game really exceeds in presentation and the team did learn how to fix the clunky platforming from the first game. It's quite unfortunate that EA is never going to greenlight the third game.

Who knew that you could cure childhood trauma by going through a psychological hell?

Persona fans hated the game because it isn't Persona while SMT fans hate it because the story is ass. I'm here to tell you that the game is fine and shouldn't have been as divisive as it was on launch.

Even though the game has a "nothing" story, it still plays well enough. It plays as you'd expect with a few tweaks that make it interesting and stand out from past titles.

I swear to Zeus, I think I died to the platforming a lot more than I did fighting the enemies. It really add salts when it asks if I want to play on easy, which only affects combat and I didn’t have a hard time fighting enemies.

Arkham Knight: "I'm going to f*cking kill you Batman! I know your next move! It's your fault I'm like this!"

Biggest step up from the first game. It’s more of the same but better. The boss fights are engaging and varied. Biggest take away is that this game makes you FEEL like Batman.

Really fun game with a nice comic-like presentation. It's unfortunate that the combat is good but the boss fights are lame as hell. Like Batman has the craziest rogue's gallery but none of their fights really represent them well.

Bro, the body I checked died with clown make-up own. Imagine dying as a clown. L

It's only been an hour and I miss David Hayter as Snake.

The annoying nitpick I had with the game is that it doesn't pause whenever I use the inventory. It makes bosses a bit tougher but they're still beatable. Still had my fun with the game since seeing the developed of Mother Base made the progression system satisfying.

The game is called Snake Eater and you can eat snakes. It's as exactly as it says on the title. I appreciate the marketing honesty.

Man, that last act really hits you like a goddamn truck. I’m surprised Raiden managed to move on from an identity crisis because everyone was just using him like a tool.

I heard this isn't the most definitive way to play MGS1 since I heard the original was better. However I was already way to far into TTS by the time I learned it. That being said, I had my fun and that's what's important.

Going Commando really fixed my issues with the first game but Up Your Arsenal perfected what the 2nd game improved. The improved weapon upgrade system makes it so that early weapons can actually pack a punch in the late game. Also had a lot of great laughs.
