this game is impressive in every single aspect. even with act 3's shortcomings, it still felt amazing to play and kept me completely immersed the entire time.

best online experience ever. played this game constantly for 3 years straight from 2007-2010 and loved every second. there was something so special about the multiplayer that's never really been achieved again. and on top of all that, the campaign is great too and what should've been the perfect end to the series.
this game has an insane level of charm. i have a crazy amount of nostalgia for oblivion. the stories and characters are so fun and interesting
this game should be better than breath of the wild (and is in a lot of ways), but it just doesn't feel as fresh and unique. regardless, it's still really good and the new powers are fun to play with

first 10-15 hrs playing mostly main story and only using ARs: wow this is boring
next 60 hrs after exploring all side stories and switching to katana build: wow this is awesome
enjoyed this game a lot more than i was expecting to considered the cyberpunk setting/aesthetic has never done much for me. the side quests really open this world up into something special. i loved the stories around river, the peralez family, and joshua in particular. the combat is super fun too once you find a build that fits your playstyle.

as close as it gets to a FromSoft souls-like. the pinocchio setting does nothing for me tho and it kinda bites from bloodborne a lot
