Otacon is incapable of having a good day ever in his life
3
god, this game is gorgeous to look at. fun as hell, too. such a great survival horror game-- easy to see how it influenced the entire genre. jill rules.
(did both a jill and chris run back to back, so i guess i technically played it twice in a row)

idk if you can really say something about mgs that hasn't been said, but yeah it's great. such a thoughtful yet thoroughly entertaining game
6
really fantastic surrealist work of art with compelling bl routes
7
(replay) still very touching. i think i appreciated it the most when i was younger and really needed its message, but it's a very sweet and heartfelt game.
8
wrote an entire review on it but tldr i think it's really touching and lovely. ikeypoo <3
9
fantastic atmosphere, some truly terrifying levels... harumi day 2, escaping from the maeda house is THE scariest survival horror level i've ever played

I Beat Every Drakengard Rhythm Game Final Boss And All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt
it sucks! it's great! i love it! such eerie, hellish imagery present in this game, it has such a uniquely otherworldly atmosphere. ending e rules. if arioch wants to eat kids that's her god given right.

(replay) still owns sorry to all the obnoxious twitter carrd.co kinnies who act like it killed their family or whatever
13
it's lonely being a house
14
it's more fatamoru-- it's great. nice to see jacopo's perspective and imeon and ceren's stories are some haunting new additions to fatamoru lore
15
16
a shame the creator sucks, but this game is free so i still recommend it as it truly is an artistic feat. some of the coolest things i've ever seen done in an rpgmaker game and a true mastery of surrealist aesthetics
17
saya no uta handshake emoji flesh, blood, & concrete handshake emoji sweet pool
joining together in the writhing warmth of the eldritch flesh gods. you'll never be lonely again! (the good ending of this is very touching)

it's definitely messier than the original trilogy, but it's still full of charm even if many of the twists in this game are goofy. apollo and trucy are fun protagonists, and klavier is sexy- i mean uh. entertaining. he's an entertaining prosecutor. i do think this game suffers from attempting to have another hard-hitting overarching plot a la aa3 but it never reaches the same heights. i still think it's pretty good though.
(i will say that aa2 is better than this, i have no clue how this is higher on here)

ended up liking this way more than i thought. maybe i'm just an urobutcher apologist? certainly for those with a vantablack soul but i think it has some really unique worldbuilding and characters despite the edgelord twist
22
very fun but sometimes too (deliberately) frustrating and the autosave points are so bizarre. other than that it's so aesthetically fascinating, very reminiscent of old giallo films like the beyond.
23
so so good, milk-chan's pain is so tangible and real despite the often vague and abstract dialogue... awesome ending dream sequences
24
i enjoyed it but every case feels so short that it's impossible to really care about anything. then the final case comes along, and it's probably the most tedious and over-long case I've ever played in a mystery game. however it still has a lot of charm, and kay and lang are cool. lang could fix me, basically!
25
pretty good short yuri visual novel. definitely could have stood to be maybe an hour or two longer to flesh out the story more, but this studio definitely has a lot of potential, especially since this is one of their first works. the art is gorgeous as well.
26
very cool atmosphere with fun b horror sentimentalities, but it can be grating. at first i was like "how could the time restraint affect anyone?" but then i realized a good third of this game is turning a wheel and hoping you can get into the door you need. makes me hype for d2 and enemy zero tho
27
extremely silly b movie vibes but i still enjoyed my time with it. bandersnatch if it was actually entertaining

the true ending has a charm to it for sure, but the normal routes are all varying shades of agonizingly unfunny. still, the actual ending won me over enough that i ended up liking it a fair amount. it's cool.
31
if this were to become a longer, more fleshed out series, i'd love that. some very fun characters. it's just too short to really leave any sort of impression, feels more like (hopefully) an introduction to more to come.
32
this kinda filtered me lol i really wanted to be a dark seed defender too. the dark world is cool as hell aesthetically but this is so goofy and horrendous to actually play. it kind of is so bad it's good so i guess it has that going for it
35
it's more hatoful. not as good as the true route of the original but not as grating as everything that comes beforehand. plus the creator's passion for birds in the radio section was really charming.
36
women will literally die on a bench in the graveyard
