doom, quake, and dmc with violence turned up to 11
Nuclear Throne
gets really brutal after looping
Dead Space 2
not just more gorey than the usual action/survival horror but also the stomping and dismembering is super intense
Bloodborne
out of all fromsoft games, this is the most visceral [ :) ] and the dlc is just the cherry on top, both with bosses and weapons like the pizza cutter
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition
one of the games ever
Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
especially because of nero, which has the most 'blunt' moves. dante and vergil are usually more cool-headed but still wreck havoc and their movesets have so much depth at this point. V is okay for one playthrough
Doom
some obvious stuff
Quake
this as well
Doom Eternal
the philosophy behind it is "rip n' tear", and the presentation, music, guns all deliver, though sometimes it's a bit 'simon says' with regards to enemies
Dusk
movement and gunplay feel really good, and the game only gets more insane as you go on
Yakuza 0
heat moves can be very extreme
Resident Evil 4
maybe 5 or village are even more action oriented, but here you can suplex enemies so hard, their head explodes
Hotline Miami
a whole game about killing people fast and violently. haven't played 2 yet but it'd be here too.
Katana Zero
same mood as hotline miami: kill shit fast or die and try again. packed with action and little room for any other bullshit
Anger Foot
based on the demo, it's kinda like a first person hotline miami. plus in-game energy drink makes it crazy
