One of the best open world games, I can't stop thinking that 3 and Vice City were like a BETA of San Andreas, this game has an open world that is so good that nowadays games can't beat it, it's amazing actually.

I know that some people think that the open world isn't well used because it isn't a great part of the story, BUT you have a lot of things to do in a very lively world to it's time (it is more lively than a lot of games nowadays) and the main story change you place to explore (changing the place of your missions as the story progresses) and all the things start to unlock as you progress, so they are at least a little connected.

You may not like it, but I did.

I hate the fact that the marketing for this game "tricked" the players, I think that what we see is what we should get, and I will ever believe in that. Because of that, I felt tricked when I bought this game on day 1 and hated it for a very long time.

But putting that aside, the game has a really... I MEAN... REALLY bold plot, they didn't choose to play safe and wanted to do a good story, not one that would please anyone, something that is worth praising, choosing art over a safe choice.

Now that the tricked feeling has passed, I like the plot of this game a lot, it isn't perfect but it brings themes that are really human and interesting (not just vengeance, if you never played), all the characters is built on multiple layers, none of them is perfect or 100% predictable, they are humans changed by the apocalipse.

I wont put spoilers in this review, but as i said, I think it is a brilliant plot.

On the other side, the gameplay is meh... It's fun but nothing that Metal Gear or Splinter Cell didn't have 10 years earlier, In its core is the same gameplay from the first game but now you can dodge, lie down (like in MGS WOOOW) and use more itens, i wished they did something more bold in here too, enhance the crafting sistem, make itens to use that could really change your gameplay, like a grappling hook or something, idk.

For me, the most impressive thing in this game is the visual presentation, the ambient is AMAZING, THE BEST ONE IN THE GAMES (cmon, if you pay attention you can see where rain, sun, enemies and other thing damaged the places over the years in a very realistic way), lightning effects, animations, camera angles, photography, facial expressions... EVERYTHING IS IMPRESSIVE.
