Debatable. I think Brock is talked about the most though because the Bulbasaur/Squirtle/Charmander debate almost always brings him up.

Arguable between the first or last boss

This one is a huge technicality as Master Hand is the only real boss here, but for the series in general he/she/it is probably more iconic than other Smash bosses, and can be the first one you fight in each game depending on mode and difficulty set.

I haven't even played BB and I can tell you Father-Gasoline/FatherGogoGadget/FatherGasFare whatever his name is isn't even like top 5 recognizable there.

Conker's absofuckinglutely not, not when The Great Mighty Poo exists and literally got his own "talking" plush line like not even a year ago lol.
I thought the Great Mighty Poo WAS Conkers first boss. I looked it up and that's what seems to be the case
The Great Mighty Poo marks the halfway point of the game more or less, players almost always encounter the Bull or Haybot first, and likely The Big Big Guy prior to GMP too.
Bloodborne is a good pick, though there is a boss in the Old Hunters (if you know you know) who might be my pick here.
