Throughout this game I kept thinking about how much i wanted to play dead space

The brawl theme is the best in the series

This game is a mixed bag for me. I put in 115 hours over the course of one playthrough, doing all the side content i could find. In terms of an RPG, this game is immersive as hell in a very unique, gritty fantasy setting with 2 excellent DLCs, but on the other hand, i really cannot get into the combat system at all. For a game as big as this, it just feels so flimsy and repetetive, with some wild balancing issues at play. Geralt is a complex character and this game has a... decent story behind it, so playing it like a hyper graphical visual novel is probably the best way to go about it. I enjoyed this game in most ways beside the actual gameplay systems and some dumber stuff concerning the ending.

Was more boring than anything, it lacked the intensity that made these games special, and the writing quality definitely dipped.

The ending wasn't as satisfying as the last game's, but i feel this works better as an action game compared to DS1 without going overboard like DS3 does. Those charger enemies definitely choked my lifespan by a few years though

The pinnacle of survival horror. Some slower parts but most of the game is fantastic and has a constant unnerving atmosphere

Fun gameplay, less fun everything else. Solid reboot

I remember enjoying this back when i played it, but maybe my opinion would change if i replayed.

Multiplayer for this game fucking ROCKS. Story mode was enjoyable surprisingly. Spent hours back in 2013-14 just sitting on siege of shanghai's skyscraper and sniping people. The maps are fantastic, such a blast to play and still has relatively active servers

Dumb, stupid even, but has its charm.

Writing is a bit iffy, but it's a GOW game so who really cares. Most of the game is a great continuation of Kratos' story, and my god the gameplay is chefs kiss. Fun plat and excited for the sequel
