some good QOL improvements to the Zero formula but an otherwise really uninteresting plot and world, and the metroidvania-style progression is terrible. I despise MMZ's ranking system and cheap difficulty but in the end I felt infinitely more invested in those games because that was a preferable alternative to being flat-out tiring

Has all the control/physics/platforming issues that hurt Galaxy 1 but now without the same moody atmosphere or world to supplement it. What's left is just really awkward to play and aesthetically dry
