RNG hell
It's good if you want more Inscryption. The card game mechanics are fun but honestly this extra mode is disappointing.

I expected more for an endless mode, like instead of deleting many items and puzzles from act 1, it could have added more to do on the cabin. You just unlock 3 unique items and that's it.
There's only one new event (the card painting one) and you unlock a small selection of cards by completing the challenge requirements.

I wanted more
More stuff from the other acts, like bosses, cards, mechanics.

Thanks to the rebalance It's more like a less fun version of act 1.
It's very frustrating and you just pray to RNGjesus that the game throws you a bone... then you proceed to exploit a busted synergy thanks to a totem, or the black goat, or the mantis god, or the dire wolf. The goal is to find a broken combination using what the game throws at you, but it's very easy to stomp Leshy once the ball gets rolling. Good luck with that though, because the higher the challenge level is, the more frequent your defeat at the hands of bullshit will be.

I just finished the story and man... that ending made me feel nostalgic for the beginning of the game.

Leshy just wanted to play his game
Good game indeed pal

Edit:
I kept playing and got the platinum trophy. It got frustrating but the main game is still an amazing experience. I also got to dive deep into the lore of the game, the arg and everything.
I don't know how to feel about Hitler being the spooky reason the game behaves like it does but... that dammed stoat, he got what he wanted and transcended! He was the one who uploaded the game we played with the video footage that was on Luke's pc.

Cute game

I liked the subtle storytelling
I recognized and liked that several items returned between the different years (like the teddy bear), and was even bummed out when some didn't come back
I can't believe I got kind of invested in a game like this

I did not like the tedium of some items requiring some placements that I could not figure out, this was specially bad in level 5 with that photo that I had to look for a guide in order to complete the level.

I played on ps4, and the controls are definitely more oriented for mouse and keyboard. Also the game stops and takes time to breathe some times, this got worse as the game reached the bigger levels, it even crashed once at the final level, thankfully it autosaved or else I would just rage quitted as I was very close to finishing the game.

I've played this game so much. I played every single version of it: the vanilla arcade, this update, the psp version, the xbox360 version, and a few days ago I found a ps3 copy and decided to start playing it again to try to get the platinum trophy.

This was the Tekken game in which I actually learned how to play and a ton of my playtime was probably in training and ghost battle practicing with every character.

It's hard for me to be objective with this game. I played a lot of versus (and team battle! me and my friends favorite mode) with my friends, online and even at my local arcade (that's still alive to this day).

I don't think this Tekken is the best one or a near perfect game. If I was being objective I would give it 4 stars.

The bad:
-There's not much to do in the game apart from the scenario campaign and versus mode.
-The story is the worst in the series and the campaign is repetitive (I still like it though and it adds a lot of play time and replayability).
-There were big changes in the gameplay, courtesy of the bound system, that revamped the juggle combos of previous entries... I was not a big fan of this change back then and nowadays I'm glad that it got tweaked into the much better screw in Tekken 7.
-It takes a while to get into matches, load times are long-ish and even the main menu takes time to fully load. Still... it's faster than Tekken 7 lol, I was surprised when I replayed this game, expecting waaay longer load times than I got.
-The online sucks, but I guess that's typical for a fighting game of that era
-You can only increase your rank past 1st dan online, making ghost battle way less fun than Tekken 5.
-Azazel is the worst final boss of the series.
-Evil Jin was a mistake.

The good:
-Huge character roster with great variety
-The new character additions are mostly great... except for maybe Lars...
-Great graphics, it looks great in motion and it's a big step up from it's predecessor.
-Even if I don't like the combo system, the gameplay is great as always... it's Tekken
-Great character customization, that is limited compared to tag2 or 7, but you can create way better looking combinations.
-You can voice chat during an online match, which works as well as you would assume but it's hilarious.
-Scenario campaign is not that bad. It's an evolution of the Tekken Force concept. Sure the story is awful but I had fun completing the mode. It would have been perfect if it included a couch co-op option.
-I like the secrets of this game, like the "hidden" stage, the hidden customization items, the roulette that unlocks even more hidden customization items (I only ever got the black rage effect) and the golden final boss that gives you 2 million gold. In my second ps3 arcade run I got it to appear and saw it in game for the first time after playing the game for thousands of hours in other platforms.
-It has the team battle mode! (Why did they cut it in 7...).
-The ost is amazing as always, the highlights being electric fountain and fallen colony.
-It includes the sheep stage.

Overall, I think there are lot's of reasons to come back to this game. It's a classic that is still fun to replay either solo (replaying the campaign or beating up cpus) or with friends (preferably offline).

After getting the platinum... I don't know, the game can be chaotic fun but most of the time it's chaotic frustrating.
I did like it, but the more you get into the advanced combat mechanics (aka getting gud) the game becomes more and more unfun. Just turn off your brain and hopefully play against opponents just wanting to have fun.

This game is TERRIBLE

It's just an awful attempt at an animal crossing-like game; it lacks content, items just glitch out, the island is empty, and the cherry on top: it has microtransactions.

Very low budget attempt at a rogue-like game
It's bad but at least it's free
It has a co-op mode up to 4 players so you can share the suffering!

Free platinum trophy!
lmao how can a memory matching game feel sluggish?

So I have been playing this game for a few days and I'm actually pretty optimistic about it and it's future.

The comparisons to Pokemon Go are inevitable and, while this game has way less stuff to do, the gameplay is actually good. The controls and what you are able to do in hunts against big monsters surprised me, it makes me wish for a full mobile game with those mechanics, as the gps and ar part of the game is the worst part of it.

I don't see most people who regularly play Pokemon Go getting into this game though. It's very different and if you are going on a walk you'll probably want to catch pokemon and spin pokestops, as opposed to take your time hunting big monsters that may need more of your concentration and your time.

The gameplay loop is very simplistic, so far, and there's not much to do... I typically open the app, do a few hunts, get materials then close the app.

When you progress and get access to the higher difficulty hunts and the other available weapons, the game evolves from just button mashing (or phone mashing?) to having actual good boss battles, making it an actual monster hunter game, just simplified. I see the potential for some great boss fights in the future, maybe even some big raids?

The game also looks and sounds great. Overall I liked what I've played so far, let's see if Monster Hunter Now survives for more than a year.

This has to be my favorite ps4 game. The best kart racer of all time, just learn to chain drift boosts.

2011

I didn't realize that this game died but it makes sense. (Wait... after some research I found out that the console versions are still alive... wow)

It's an old mmo that only had 2 good points: the waifu character designs (which honestly was the only thing keeping this game alive for so long) and the best part of this game: the action combat system.

It's combat mechanics were what kept me playing until I hit max level. I even got the platinum. I played a support character (I believe I was a female high elf priest named Faraine) and carried in every dungeon I played with randoms. I basically played this as if it were a single player game.

Almost every other part of this game was bad and janky. The story missions were boring and repetitive, the cutscenes were awful, just navigating the menus felt bad and the world, while huge and varied, was an empty wasteland most of the time, specially on higher level areas. Just playing the dungeons is the best way to "have fun" with this game, and even then they sometimes glitched out, making them impossible to clear.

This game had potential, and I guess I enjoyed my time with it... though I do have a high tolerance for bad games and this definitely was the worst mmo I've played.

How is this game even real.

It looks terrible but it's graphics are also amazing. It's actually "3d"; you can sidestep, wavedash, kbd... it has more movement than the first Tekken.

The controls are weird. You use 4 buttons but not like normal Tekken where each button corresponds to a limb. You have a punch button, a kick button, a grab button and a tag button... Yes, this game has a tag mode, 3v3 in fact.

Tekken Advance is a weird mismatch of Tekken 3 and Tag1. It's a very ambitious game and kind of impressive as it plays well even with the reduced movesets.

It's okay
Not that good but not bad. It looks and sounds great considering it's a gba game. The track selection is good in my opinion and as a whole it's better than super mario kart.

The worst part of this game is the turning. It feels bad and drifting feels even worse. It takes a while to get used to it, but once you do it can be fun to tackle tracks like this game's rainbow road, the hardest one of the franchise.

So you're telling me that Konami man invited Grey Fox but not Solid Snake???

Actually good considering it's the gba. I was impressed with the amount of options this game has, the number of modes (my favorite is drift-combo), the car selection was more than I was expecting and it even has replays.
