I can’t even describe how soulful and comforting this game makes me feel. I play this and I feel like I’m back on my bedroom floor, 4 years old, playing through this. It’s very nostalgic for me and it’s really held up in terms of music, characters, aesthetic and gameplay. Yeah it’s janky at times but I found it’s apart of the experience of SA2.
I find it kinda insane how they treated this game like Sonic’s final game? Rest easy heroes ❤️

But god is the story an incredible journey of two people learning to become themselves and then it all stripped away from them so suddenly. The tragedy of the sea salt trio will live on in the KH saga as one of the most tragic and best written. Roxas and Xion are both so well written and fantastic characters who we both learn to love and cherish. Axel is also a great character with his own flaws which I really loved as well. I would love to see this sort of in-depth character writing again in the series in the future. I think the ‘side games’ would make great use of this while the mainline numbered titles continue to be a continuous spectacle of games.
If you are gonna experience this story. It is best to do so with the cutscenes provided on the HD Remix’s

This game truly is a TOMB RAIDER experience! I loved all of this game even the difficult parts which sometimes would be frustrating. The movement of Lara in these games feels so good to play! Onto Underworld!

This game takes the characters from the original as buffs them up to be like the best written FF characters ever. Barret and Aerith are both so well done where as I found them lacking a lot in the original.

How beautifully told this story is. A story about Despair and Hope. How we use both to grow ever stronger. This story was so emotional. Nearly every one of the Scion getting great moments to shine. Forever my favourite being Alphinaud. This expansion is part of the reasons why I love Final Fantasy as a franchise. How we will prevail despair and fight with hope ever by our sides. How these themes are constantly used within this series and how they never bore me with it. A lovely experience

Why have I never played this game before. It’s insanely mecore to the girlypop aesthetics of Ulala. The weird ass 2000s colors and looks. Catchy af music. If my brain was a video game it would be this. Micheal Jackson in it too this is insane

Such a simple concept yet so well done? They’re something so cozy yet so satisfying about this game! Our character was truly a Nintendo soldier throughout her life!!

There is so much beauty to this game. From its watercolour art style to its magnificent soundtrack I fell in love with this world while trying to pick up what story I could. I lost myself in this art piece and throughly enjoyed my time.
