First Zelda actually completed. Some really fun moments, and I like the art style. Still too much "work" for me to really settle in and have fun with it consistently. Dungeons are fun, but the busy work in between can be obtuse.

Masterpiece. Unmatched cinematic storytelling, underrated environmental storytelling through gameplay elements.

2016

As fun and fast as I hoped it would be. Glory kills FTW.

Loved the story and connections to rest of series. Some janky combat, but fun overall.

First RE game completed. Beautiful remake, loved the vibe. Completed both paths.

First Rockstar game actually completed. Looked great on Xbox One X. After messing with some side stuff, pretty much ran through the story.

Joyful. Not my preferred style of Mario levels normally, but loved what was here. Just really happy.

Had a blast. It's pretty, story is popcorn-ish, and gameplay a bit more fleshed out than Uncharted, though similar. Love the "wide linear" structure that really starts with this reboot.

Solidified my love for this reboot series. Really, really enjoyed the Tombs this time around. Eventually also finished the Baba Yaga DLC. Another great tomb + boss.

Fitting send-off for Nate. Felt really smooth to shoot & play. Loved the Scotland setting. Final fight is probably the most photo-realistic I can remember gameplay being, at least in the moment.

Probably the sweet spot for me as far as the Arkham series goes. Not too big, but never felt lost in a maze. Mr. Freeze and Ra's Al Ghul fights are standouts.

A great wheelhouse for me. Dug the combat, dug the Uncharted vibes, layout is a bit more like Tomb Raider wide-linear w/ the planets. Did not enjoy about half of the big puzzles. Felt like a lot of time wasted and some frustration. If it's cleaned up, sequel could be incredible.

Masterpiece. Probably the best amalgamation of everything I like about games for a standalone PS4 release. The design is immaculate, and probably what pushes it over the top, for me. Did not go in expecting to have this opinion, but it won me over at every turn. Excited for sequel/s.

Great, short length. Some truly beautiful sections. And it is moving, even at times when you're not entirely sure why.
