Stop waxing poetic at me Max Payne.

It's a good thing they spent so much time making Mario feel good in a blank room. Unfortunately, they must have forgot to make a fun game surrounding Mario's (still) excellent movement.

I only like 3 out of the 12 or so levels I played. I just do not like this game. I bet it's way more fun to speedrun than it is to play as intended.

This DLC is so anti-fun that I'm nearly certain it was made as a giant fuck you to the Isaac player base. It's like if the design philosophy that went into making the supremely unfun Hush boss fight was applied to the entire game.

I'm vehemently opposed to what OW2 and CS2 are.

Really amazing visuals and sound are completely overshadowed by the gross stuff. Really astounded some of these reviews completely blow past them. Like I don’t even feel comfortable writing out a one sentence summarization of a certain scene I have in mind. You all really need to be on a list.

All the gross shit is written like erotica, not like horror. There is just weird fetish porn you’re supposed to jerk off to in the middle of your horror media. Imagine if Angela from Silent Hill 2 started giving you jerk off instructions while she’s on the burning staircase. Yeah.

Shame on you people for the incessant comparisons to inFamous. They both set out to do different things and it's kind of amazing both of them are worth playing.

Anyway, I need more games with broody men with black tendril powers. We can call them Darknesstypes.

I adore this game in every way imaginable but I'm unsure just how badly emulation is messing everything up. This is a 5 if the controls don't feel too clunky on OG hardware. Absolutely brilliant.

Oh God don't trust the reviews on this. Paladins is a really fun shooter with a lot of very cool ideas. It's free and it's fun, hero unlocks are very generous.

For my fighting games players out there, Paladins is the kusoge of hero shooters.

What I thought would be a simple nostalgic romp turned out to be an actually decent game. Crypto has a very unique feel, and while there's few weapons, they've all got a use.

Combat is mostly easy but then you'll get sniped by a missile or 2 one too many times and it starts to feel really frustrating.

This game has a decent script that's heavily carried by the stellar voice acting. It still completely holds up.

Some frustrating missions aside, this is absolute worth checking out again. Shame we've only seen remakes of these games so far, I think there's a lot of potential in a new current gen title.

Get in the ball grandma, your ass is going to space.

I almost gave up after level 2 because Sam is frustratingly slow. I'm glad I didn't.

This game is some premium-garbage. Once you accept the games tendency to say "fuck you" as hilarious instead of annoying, it becomes a lot more fun.

I still do think Sam moves too slowly. The game speed should have probably been upped across the board.

The copy and paste arenas do start to get a little old, and the massive levels and such slow walking speed led to me never really secret-hunting. Most secrets are also just another "fuck you" anyway though.

The First Encounter was overall a great time and I look forward to possible refinements in the other games.

Neat beat em' up. Wish some of the attacks were shifted 3 of the unused buttons. The game is really great at forcing you into interfacing with all of its mechanics, but then the final boss says fuck all that and is super boring, which sucks. Art is very good and I love the overall aesthetic. It's 2 hours tops so definitely check it out!

I got really excited when I noticed quite a few times that people thought that Ch. 1 of Higurashi was one of, if not the "worst" chapter. Frankly, I was so enthralled by the experience, for all that it is, that I couldn't imagine it gets -that- much better.

Well it does!

And... I can't say I hate the slice of life when I quite literally forgot for maybe 2 hours that I was reading a story that greatly involves grotesque murder, and I think that's pretty neat.

Anyway, I look forward with going full speed ahead with the other chapters!

In theory, I like the idea of this game.

Like, it's sort of got some Crazy Taxi vibes? I love the art direction and environments. It's also pretty neat to see so many civilians swarming these areas on a PS2.

Unfortunately it's just not very fun to play. I ran through the 4 levels on the score attack mode, and they're just kinda frustrating. The "story mode" isn't really much more fun either.

I actually think there's a really neat idea for a game here, and I do actually think State of Emergency is worth checking out, but yeah not a great game.

Metroid Fusion is an odd one. I can appreciate the more linear structure it takes, I just wish it didn't feel so formulaic up until the last little bit.

This game is peak sprite art IMO. The colors are beautiful, areas are distinct, key information is always at the forefront.

I love the bosses, boss designs, and boss patterns. I really appreciate that most bosses are pretty pitiful, health-wise. Once you've figured out how to win, it's pretty easy to execute on.

Ya know... Everyone loves to talk about the SA-X. It's really cool, kinda eerie, but I dunno, I felt like a little more could have been done with it.

I'm looking forward to playing a more standard Metroid game with this games fluidity in Metroid: Zero Mission.
