Redefining Zelda and showing the best of the Open World genre. Absolutely legendary.

Amazing game, but still held back by dated controls and physics.

Nostalgia blind? Nah, it’s just a great game.

Good bit frustrating, but still has some of the most creative level design and ideas in any mainline Mario to date.

May have aged a bit, but it’s still a great game in my eyes. Still worth picking up even years later.

Third time’s the charm, and that’s an understatement for this one. Super Metroid is the culmination of the ideas in the first two games, crafted to utter perfection. …well, maybe not that much, but it’s still a genre defining game that holds up incredibly well today.

Some of the most revolutionary storytelling in a Zelda game, which is still appreciated this many years later. Creepy as hell, and I love it.

Pretty good. I got a lot out of this game’s content, but not much else to say after that.

Yes, I know this game’s great. I’m sorry, Classic style isn’t my thing, and I was hoping for more original stuff here. Or, to be more clear, I wanted a true Sonic 4, and instead got Sonic Generations (Classic edition)

I’m not giving a good score until you can pet the Dino.

It’s Mario Kart 8 again. I still like the original a lot, so no reason not to with this one too.

Brilliant RPG that pushed the Mother series forward one last time. Games like these helped define the era of strange and imaginative RPG’s we’re in today.

Absolutely loved this one. Takes the original game and just uses the best aspects from it and Fusion to create the definitive first Metroid. Definitely a great starting place for anyone new to the series.

Nostalgia speaking here. I love this game.
