Damn depressing but good. Well-written and impactful.

Master class world design. Fun and challenging bosses despite not living up to its successors in that respect. However, the original entry in the Dark Souls series provides an irreplicable experience. Is this the best game Fromsoft has made? No. The game falls off pretty hard in the second half, not enough to ruin the experience entirely, but the first half shows that this game had the potential to be nearly perfect.

Best survival horror game I've played. Capcom is leading the industry with these remakes.

2018

Takes the idea of a rougelite and brings it to its full potential, with a fantastic story and cast of characters to boot. looking forward to the sequel.

Good Combat, great bosses, linear world but still exciting to explore.

Takes the already fantastic combat system that FROM introduced in Dark Souls, and kicks it into high gear. Along with its fantastic setting and unforgettable bosses, Bloodborne is sure to leave you sastisfied

Great open world and exploration, however, the last 10ish hours of this game is a trainwreck. From ran out of ideas and substituted interesting and challenging boss patterns and move-sets and instead made every attack hit you for 2/3s of your HP, or the boss has a reset fight button that you will never figure out how to dodge without a guide. Many say that the game is hard because you are meant to use the spirit summons, but From has always designed their bosses without summonable help in mind, and I find it frustrating that they decided to seemingly abandon this philosophy. I've beaten the game 3 times, which shows that the game clearly is doing something right, but I don't think I'll ever play it again simply because I do not wish to fight these terrible bosses. Hoarah Loux is cool though.

Fantastic game. Go in blind, you won't be disappointed.

God of War Ragnarok brings a much more consistent level of quality but does not quite reach the same peaks as its predecessor.

I love Overwatch but I'm disappointed in the direction Blizzard is going, making sequels instead of supporting the already fantastic groundwork they have here. The game receives very little in the form of content updates, and with Jeff Kaplan leaving the future of Overwatch looks grim.

Started off strong but the missions quickly became extremely repetitive at the narrative seemed to come to a complete halt. I'm told the game picks up but I cannot be bothered to slog my way there, and It doesn't help that I have to play it on a console.

Finally wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The story and characters were surprisingly engaging. The gameplay was fine enough but never challenging and not very engaging until the last chapter.

Very good story and amazing gameplay.

My favorite rogue-like game. Very fun alone and with friends. Challenging and heavily replayable with 10 unique characters to master. However, some deaths feel cheap and unavoidable, especially late-game. Mithrix is hard :(
