the most charming entry of the series to me, the thousand-year door has such variety in its worlds, such density in its lore for each said world, and such care put into every new chapter that i cannot help but smile any time i think about this game. it's full of wonder.

i remember being so shocked when i was little, seeing how polite the dialogue was towards the female characters of this game. seeing how the genders were treated as a non-issue. that feeling has never gone away, really. i apologize if this has nothing to do with video games at all, it's just something special i've always held in my heart. when the world becomes too tiring, i play this and remember what kindness looks like.
