Completed original game on PS3 as well. Updated shooting mechanics, better story and more color than just desert brown, it's an upgrade and the better game in the series overall. One of my favourites.

My man just wants to write and be with his wife.

I bought the Master Chief collection but will be logging the games to their respective titles separately.

Halo 1 is an amazing FPS shooter, I have some nostalgia covered glasses on as this was one of the very first video games I played on the original Xbox way back when.

I played on Heroic and man the Library still sucks ass. I want to review this game but from the perspective of both from someone who has played it for the first time and have accumulated knowledge and skill of other FPS shooters that have come after it.

Halo itself is a very simple but great FPS game design wise. But it definitely is one of those games that you can definitely feel that its a product of it's time. With only 10 levels (with 3 levels being reused/reskinned environment assets, which was commonplace for games developed at the time, and still today) it does feel a bit short for someone who has sufficient enough skill to finish a first person game on that difficulty, possibly even worse on easy ones.

On a different level, the quality of the visuals when tabbing in to the "remastered" version, feels so different, but on some parts I find myself staying on one version than the other. Sometimes the remastered version makes it difficult to see enemies as they blend with the environment and it all becomes a blurry mesh of blasts, panel lines, and drab colors. Making it hard to see enemy, ally and pickups.

While the "classic versions" does offer some visual clarity and relief, it does feel a bit dated, and most of the times, hard to see some specific things. While it does use these old timey game development techniques with the classical version, even on a bright monitor, it's difficult to make out stuff because it's either too dark or it hasn't rendered in yet.

With all of that being said, Halo: CE is an overall good FPS game to start with.

Absolutely amazing stealth game. Beautiful world building and themes. Can not recommend enough.

I love Dishonored 2 as it opened up the world more in both story wise and gameplay wise. I wish the time travel gameplay mechanic was done more than just the 1 level really. It was so fun going back in time and seeing my decisions affect the level as I played it. Not as good as Dishonored 1 but still great.

Beginning of the AC franchise. Very bland but not the worst I'd say in the series. Only bad if you really compare it to the newer games obviously this would be lacking in a lot of aspects.

Big dick G Altair kills fools and gets an alien apple. Crazy, man.

My favourite part in this game is the beginning, after playing 2 and beating the boss you come out of the same place from 2 and you see the sun rise as you scale to the rooftops was so breathtaking at the time.

Also:

"Hey wassa-matta-you. Altair?"
"That's racist."
"You're a racist."

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, tower defense is alright, theme wise it's great, not much different of course at this point, after 3 games before it nothing much has changed. Also a lot of the people seem to really hate the bombs mechanic in this one, I really liked it. Gave a bit of a different way to escape and do assassinations.

Different setting, different combat (but not a lot), same AC game at this point.

I thought I heard the Old Man say
"Leave her, Johnny, leave her"
Tomorrow ye will get your pay
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

Oh, the wind was foul and the sea ran high
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
She shipped it green and none went by
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

I hate to sail on this rotten tub
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
No grog allowed and rotten grub
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

We swear by rote for want of more
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
But now we're through so we'll go on shore
And it's time for us to leave her

Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her

A refreshing take on the Monster Hunter franchise, friendly for beginners. Hopefully they update the game more as it seems they kind of forgot about it.

It sucks that to kind of enjoy the game you'd need Sunbreak as majority of the content I feel like is in Sunbreak. The base game feels a bit lacking and I finished it after a few weeks. Replayability on the base is still there but some stuff is locked without Sunbreak DLC. New movement mechanics feels great with the zipline and mount.

Always going to be on playing amazing game. I can't wait for the second one.

Great action-adventure game with a great premise. I remembered playing this for a couple of hours when I was a kid and I giggled at the fact of this French guy from modern times goes to Feudal Japan.
