insane and pretty fantastic. legitimately hard to play just because it would bring me somewhere else. like this is a mind bending experience, which i hate saying, because it sounds so tacky, and people will go "wooaaahhh dude" to the most basic shit, but this game actually is seriously "trippy" and insane, and totally makes you go tunnel vision mode, i love it

honestly i get legitimately frustrated that there is just no game that feels even slightly close to how this one does. the gameplay is so so so much fun to the point where i have replayed the main campaign at least 5 times now even though i have the solution to every puzzle perfectly memorized. the story and atmosphere really just are incredible. i love the desolate wasteland this world is, the impossibly large surrealness of it all. and i still love wheatley and glados and their humor, even if it feels a little aged at this point. i really love the music too, it just fits so well and builds this amazing, insular world. all of the blues and grays and whites in this world with the final scene with the sunlight and the orange grass, oh god. the contrast and warmth felt in that scene. the absolute loneliness of that climb back up as you witness a downfall of a man through exploration only. the environments here feel unreal to me, nothing feels anything like this game. i really love this game, probably my second favorite of all time after super mario galaxy 2.

my favorite game of all time. So fun and playable. Start me on this game and i'll play for hours and hours on end without stop. I never get tired of it. I think it is a massive improvement from the first one, but that could be because im more into linear gameplay rather than exploration. everything here is so smooth and wonderful, i have every galaxy pretty much memorized at this point. ive heard some complain that the green stars are kinda an underwhelming unwarranted extension of the game, but i love them. you have the main game and then this awesome collect a thon that makes you really have to think outside of the box and explore the levels in such odd ways. i really love this game so much, the music and art and gameplay fill me with this sense of joy that is just unmatched.

i thought this game was a little boring and annoying, i didnt really like may that much, but then i went to college and became may and it was horrifying, and i realized just how great this game actually is.
i still kinda dont really like the platforming parts though, the way may moves feels kinda awkward in some of the more gameplay-heavy areas. im still not that into the gameplay too much, to be quite honest.

the best mario kart game there is. the bikes with their inside drifts and wheelies that are just objectively better than every other vehicle are in theory a bad game design choice in that theyre weirdly broken but to me just a beautiful stupid weird thing that allows for really intense mastering of this game. the physics in this game are in that wonderful sweet spot of being pretty close to polished but still very exploitable to do weird shit. i really love it. also a childhood nostalgia game for me: i am a depressed college student now but oh man when i was 6 years old and my parents got me and my siblings a wii for christmas with mario kart?? jesus christ. pure joy. i want to go back
