No idea what the story was supposed to be about (apart from about 25 hours, wacka wacka). Exploding bodies took me about a dozen hours to wring all the fun out of, can't see playing after the campaign stretched that to about double.

Everyone who complained about Diablo 3 having interesting background art, I hope you're happy with your brown swamps.

Excellent bolts come out of the gun. Besides that, little of interest here past the first hour, unless you're one of those troglodytes who think the Imperium are the goodies.

Third person action adventure games really are quite good. Star Wars is also good, which I had forgotten due to recent output.

Apparently this has bugs or something, didn't notice.

Isaac now looks a bit like my maths teacher at high school, so I am less inclined to want to make us whole again. This was a deeply pointless remake, but I'm glad a few more people got their spooky jollies with it.

Buckets of guts, some funny bits.

Hey kids, come get your farm fresh CHORVS, they're delicious if a little unambitious.

Sometimes it's okay just to have a nice time with some chance travelling companions.

What a nice time I had doing the shooting and stabbing. I am glad though that games have mostly stopped feeling the need to tell me I'm shit at playing them every ten minutes.

Loved so much about this game aesthetically, and it was ruined for me by the forced parrying. A shame.

2021

Smarter than it looks while logical enough that even I, a certified plum duff, could solve it without hints. Lovely design.

The best game that came out in 2022

I did not know you could die this many ways on a boat.

A delightful work of documentary and game preservation, as well as a joyful object in itself. Heartily recommended to anyone with even a passing interest in the early days of video games.
