This game didn't come to me at a good time, but at the same time, it did, I had just gotten laid off from work and continued to be in that situation for a month and a half, and my grandfather passed away a couple days after I bought it.
Playing this game definitely helped me through those times, but I'm not basing my thoughts on this game off of that alone, this game is also incredibly fun and challenging and it definitely deserved it's GotY award.
Not to mention, to me, this game is probably the most fun I've had with a Souls game since Dark Souls 3, hell, I'd say it's more fun that that game.
I've played this game a bunch of times after I beat it the first time and achieved all of the endings except for Immortal Severance, will probably try and achieve that ending sometime in the future.
Also, this game got updated a year later with a boss rush mode, something that a lot of Souls players have been wanting from a Souls game since the boss fights are some of the most fun that people have had with said games.

I was so hyped for this game when it was announced and when I finally got my hands on the game, I was not disappointed, I enjoyed every second of this game, the City That Never Sleeps DLC, not so much, but it did build a lot of stuff up for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, so it did it's job, for the most part, would highly recommend.

How the hell did this game lose to The Last of Us Part 2?

A game that I used to really enjoy as a kid, I look back on years later and think....What the hell was Sega thinking?
Why does Shadow need a gun?
Why does Shadow need to drive?
Why does this game make Sonic characters swear?
Why are there multiple endings?
How does Shadow think he's an Android?
Does Black Doom want to enslave the planet or destroy it?
Why does the Commander blame Shadow for Maria's death when it was the military that pulled the trigger?
And on top of all of that, I am convinced that since this game is never mentioned in any of the future Sonic titles that this is a fanfiction written by Shadow the Hedgehog himself.
I mean, c'mon, Shadow does way too much cool shit in this game, all the other characters are generic and boring, not to mention one of the main themes of the game literally has a line that reads, "Bow your heads low, All Hail Shadow"
C'mon, it's obvious that that's what's going on here.

While the game is basically a less fun version of Sekiro, I still find the game's story and characters to be it's strongest asset, and of course, it's a great addition to the Star Wars saga.
I do, however, hope that if they do make more games that proceed this one that they decide to go with a more original gameplay style, because even though I love the game, the Dark Souls mechanic just doesn't work for games like this.

This is definitely one of my top favorite Zelda games of all time, The Legend of Zelda and RPG elements blend well together, also the addition of voice acting in this game is a most welcome inclusion, also BotW Zelda is best Zelda, don't @ me.
It's also cool that you can choose to go face off with Ganon right away and not have to get the Master Sword, free the Divine Beasts, and recover your memories beforehand, which means that you can beat the game right away if you wanted to, not saying it will be easy, but you certainly can.
Though I highly recommend playing the rest of the game before you even try to go after Ganon, because there's so much in this game to explore and the DLCs also add a lot more to the game with making the Master Sword more powerful and more useful to making your Champion Powers a lot more powerful and also, motorcycle...Need I say more?
It's also refreshing to see Nintendo take a much different approach to temples in this game, instead you have Divine Beasts and none of them really take that long to traverse, the only one I would say does take a while is Hyrule Castle, but that's pretty much it.
Also, to what I said earlier about this being their best interpretation of Zelda, I mean what I said, Zelda has more personality in this than in most of the other Zelda titles and she's also very relatable with how she feels like she's disappointing everyone and feels like there's a lot of weight on her shoulders to succeed, we've all been there.
Also, I believe that Link is the biggest chad in this game with how he's able to parry a Lynel that's charging at him at high speed and with how he's able to wield any type of weapon from swords to greatswords with ease, and also, being able to deflect a Guardian's beam back at them will never stop being satisfying, you are a fool if you say otherwise jk.
That being said, I can't wait for this game's sequel and with what new things it'll bring to their new formula.

The second Sonic game that I have ever played and yet another one that I absolutely enjoy, the soundtrack kicks ass, the variety in characters and gameplay and of course, the bad voice acting in the game never gets old.
For years, I thought that Big was the worst and most annoying character to play as, but as it turns out, his levels are actually super easy, at least, when you figure out the technique to catch Froggy first try every time.
Not to mention, this game is what turned Tails from sidekick to hero, only for Sega to make him backtrack years later, but we don't talk about that.
This game also introduces the best final boss in any Sonic game, you can't change my mind, Perfect Chaos, fighting this guy as Super Sonic to Crush 40 is just so epic, only boss fight to come close to this to me would probably be Dark Gaia from Sonic Unleashed.
Tikal and Chaos are also two really great characters that I really hope get brought into the third Sonic movie, imagine seeing Sonic fight Perfect Chaos on the big screen, how cool would that be?!

It's sad when a broken game where Sonic kisses a human girl is better than this.

I originally played this game on the PS2, so I didn't get the best port of the game, but I still really enjoy the story and the soundtrack, not to mention, Griffith kills it as Sonic in this game, it's a shame he's no longer playing the character.
I do plan on revisiting this game in the future on the 360 since I heard that that port is the best one by far, also I heard the werehog is a little less annoying to play as on that console.

Motion controls and Sonic should not go together.
That being said, I do enjoy the story of this game with the relationship between Shahra and Sonic and Erazor Djinn serves as the perfect antagonist for this game.
The ending where Sonic owns Erazor Djinn after making him bring Shahra back and return the world to normal still gets me.
I just wish I didn't have to sift through shitty gameplay in order to achieve that.

The motion controls aren't nearly as bad in this game as they are in Secret Rings, so I can find myself enjoying this game a lot more, also, Sonic with a sword is awesome.
The soundtrack also kicks ass in this game, but it's really hard to fuck up a Sonic track, unless you're Sonic Forces, and the ending to this game is definitely emotional with Sonic saying that we have to live life to the fullest in the time we have, not to mention the fact that this is the last game that Griffith played Sonic in and it feels like the perfect farewell for his portayal of the character.
Also, Live Life is one of my top favorite Crush 40 songs.

Not a DOOM fan, this was literally my first game, and I had a lot of fun with it, mainly for being able to slaughter demons in many brutal and fun ways.

This game doesn't have the best gameplay around, future entries into this series have definitely improved a lot gameplay wise, I still consider this to be one of my favorite of the series because of all of the characters, the writing, and the epic soundtrack.
I wasn't able to experience the DLCs to this game like Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, or the Witch Hunt, and I still haven't completed the Awakening expansion, but since I've gotten ahold of the Ultimate Edition of this game for the PC, I'm definitely going to revisit it sometime in the future.
Also, the intro to this game always gives me goosebumps that none of the other titles have managed to replicate with future entries.
The origins system is also a really good addition, being able to choose between which origin you start out with really shakes up the story with characters reacting to you differently depending on your race, your origin, and your gender, the biggest example is the City Elf origin where things change depending on which gender you choose, I'd say my most favorite would be the Human Noble origin, don't know why, but I just feel like that one is the best of all of them, personally.
The gameplay can be tedious at times and the turn-based gameplay can be pretty mind-numbingly dull, but if you look past it, take in the atmosphere, the soundtrack, and if you are incredibly invested in the story and characters, you can easily look past these flaws and find yourself enjoying the game.

One of the first Sonic games I have ever played and still one of my favorite ones to this day.
Mainly because my favorite Sonic character is introduced in this game and continues to be my favorite to this day.
For a while, I always thought it was weird that Eggman wanted to blow up the planet that he intended to rule, but the more I think about it, I think Eggman's basically just being like, "If I can't have your planet, no one can!" which to me, suits his character, also you can play as him in this game, how many Sonic games let you play as Eggman?!
Every character is also written very well in this game, even if the mistranslated dialogue doesn't really capture it all that well, also, we get a very heartfelt moment where Eggman opens up about his childhood and how he looked up to his grandfather and wanted to be just like him, how often does Eggman open up like this?!
If you can't tell, I absolutely love how Eggman is written in this game, to me, this is Eggman at his best.
While the final boss isn't as great as Sonic Adventure's final boss, everything else about the game still slaps.
Also, fun fact: This game was supposed to be Shadow's last game, he actually died at the end, until fans begged Sega to bring him back because they loved him so much, then they brought him back in Heroes.
And also, Chao Garden....That is all.

While this game isn't as big as Marvel's Spider-Man, it still does a lot for what little runtime it has, plus all of the side content is really fun and quick to do.
Also, seeing Miles grow into his own independent Spider-Man is really engaging and definitely has me hyped for Marvel's Spider-Man 2
