The best and I do mean literal best thing that they have done to make this game the best in the series is that they killed off the absolute most annoying character in the whole series TWICE

Another great example of how British people are the worst part of anything.

They made an entire game out of the second mission of Halo Combat Evolved. So yeah, it's pretty fucking great.

It's like every goddamn day there's some new problem with this. Shelving it till they get bugs under control, I will gladly go back to FH4 in the mean time.

I feel like this game was made by two different developers. The first 4 hours of this game are so drastically different and significantly more enjoyable than the rest. I respect this game a lot, I love what it's trying to do, and I'm happy that it resonated with a lot of people, but I could not wait for it to be over. By no means a bad game, but one that I could not personally get into.

I am not kidding the start of this game is the best intro to any game I have ever played.

It's aged I'll say that much. I've played this game a handful of times and I definitely notice a new thing I don't enjoy about it every time I play it. Despite that though I still think this is one of the most creative and enjoyable platformer-fps hybrids that has come out in the last 20 years. It is extremely clunky and the presentation of the game is definitely where they put all their eggs. It's a shame there was never a proper sequel since they were clearly setting one up. I love this world, and the character of Faith Connors. I love how alive and free the game makes you feel in its best moments, of which there are plenty. This is an invigorating experience, and though you might be turned off by it initally because of how rough around the edges it is, if you let it into your heart I think you'll be surprised by how good it actually is when you're not dealing with clunky combat sections and awkward controls. A flawed, but extremely memorable and lovable experience. Soundtrack rips too.

I think I prefer the original for two reasons. The first being that there's a certain charm to the original that is just not present here and the second and more important reason being that nearly all of the boss fights got significantly worse. This isn't a big problem in the first half but it becomes a substantial problem when you spend more time in the lab. The Sherry section was also awful. Still in its best moments this kicked my ass and was a pleasure to play. Solid remake.

Very fun but not a multiplayer mainstay for me imo. Its a good time waster but not anything super mindblowing and only keeps me invested for about a half hour or hour at a time. I could definitely see this becoming the next huge thing like Rocket League which it very clearly takes influence from!

shelved because of instable framerate, will pick up again on console at some point in the near future

If you bitched and moaned about the Marauder you simply stopped playing the game after the first encounter because you fucking suck and don't deserve to play something this good. Pussy.
