Played all but Chrono. I would start with Devil May Cry as it's probably the shortest game to beat.

@woodoo dmc1 because its short or mgs1 because it's also not too long and is awesome. Tho I do recommend people play metal gear 2 beforehand just cuz it gets referenced near the end of mgs1 and is important to the plot. Plus it's a solid game in it's own right

Do not play Metal Gear 2 before Metal Gear Solid. It isn't needed for the plot and the details from MG2 are retconned in MGS1, with at least one twist that is supposedly from MG2 not even happening in the story of that game. Start with MGS1.

@AstroboyMario honestly I think I'm probably gonna play every single kojima game in chronological order if I can, so that's the plan as of now!

I still need to play Subnautica and I have heard really good things, I will definitely say Secret of Mana, Chrono, and SOTN are some of my favorites to this day! Definitely recommend those! I typically play SOTN like once a year now lol.

I'm missing a handful of these too but you got a lot of good stuff here. You're in for a treat! I saw you are saying you wanna play the kojima games in chronological order. I'd recommend only doing that after playthrough the games in release order. Going from MGS5 to metal gear 1 will break your neck with the whiplash

@DrJeans dude yeah the DS ones look incredible, I really wish Konami would make a collection of them for Steam but I think they're too lazy with all their gacha game fuckery now
