rough order

This game with all DLCs is an excellent package, some great endgame bosses. Still suffers from being able to remove challenge and break the gameplay down by min-maxing builds similar to Nioh. Team Ninja could definitely make a solid game without RPG mechanics at this point. First DLC is pretty bad though as it's a forced grind with little content.
Easily one of the best armored core campaigns and just a solid action game. Though the 'major' boss fights kind of steal the focus from everything else.
Multiplayer is pretty meh & there's a lack of hard modes (S-ranking isnt enough) which hurts the longevity of this game. But it's been getting better over updates so it's a positive outlook.
For basically every Armored Core the base (numbered) entry hasn't been the best in that series. An expansion could bring out all the potential here.
Specifically ver 2.0 update (Chaos difficulty & Extra Stage added).
PC Shmup kind of approaching perfection with a huge variety of modes, fun patterns and little jank. Everything from Stage 3 onwards is just really fun. I don't even like the art style but it's outshadowed by everything else. Of the developers games this one is very CAVE-like but the generous touhou-like death bomb means you have an abnormally large amount of resources to clear the game.
I keep getting my ass beat trying to get a proper run of Speedrun Trial on Chaos+ difficulty so this is taking up the shmup backlog for a while..

Strangely good soundtrack using royalty free materials.

I think this takes some steps back compared to Rabi-Ribi. The metroidvania exploration aspect & story are more of a focus but these aren't the biggest strength of the game.
The game is easier than Rabi-Ribi and not having access to all difficulty modes before clearing the game hurts a lot here. Expecting every player to do multiple playthroughs of such a long game is a bit much, when the exploration and story part will remain the same.

Expert w/ no items during boss fights. Need to get around to Inferno..

Opinion will probably improve as post-game content is added.
Single player Tactician. Played before Patch 5
Early Access ver.
Great use of enemies from all sides in level design. Hard 1cc on first attempt.
