My feelings on this game are so incredibly complex that I really struggle putting this into a review so i'll just say that this game gets better the more I think about it.

Between the incredible story, the themes that get fully explored , the characters who get full arcs and the deep and complex combat system, Final Fantasy X becomes one of the best games I've ever played.

Only played this for rebirth, the combat was way too simplistic, and the story was flimsy.

Absolute mess of a game, still I love Snake and the cutscenes!

One of the scariest games i've ever played, some of the later levels let the game down but that mirror scene may be the best in any game i've ever played!!!

Good game, but was suffering from fromsoftware burn out so stopped.

Played on my crappy gameboy advance that deleted my save so i don't have a way to finish this and that is a real shame because i absolutely loved this game!!

Had several gameplay and audio glitches, didn't particularly enjoy the combat and the story has more holes than swish cheese, Troy Baker still rocks

Pretty tight horror game with some good scares to boot, only issue is that you can only play this once or it loses all its impact!

Found this to have a great idea for both its story and combat but lacking in the execution of both, feels like this was a major rushed production.

I feel like the only person in the world that likes this game but wow do I think it gets way too much hate, a story that has deep themes but it follows those themes right to their conclusions, characters who all have their own individual arcs even when it’s not explicitly told to us and a world that is so richly interesting and beautiful that I could trek through another 40 hours!

Maybe the best game to come out of the ps1, Metal Gear Solid proves that you don’t need good graphics to tell an amazing story, all you need is good voice actors and a killer soundtrack!

Enjoyed this when it came out although looking back we was starved of good Star Wars content at the time and this had some extremely hype moments but I still think this could have been a much more polished game.

Stuck between a 3 and a 3.5, games really good on a first play through due to all the different things that you experience but on a replay a lot of those things really don’t hold up, shockingly I think the games last quarter is by far the best on a replay due to how the combat works, plus the final boss is an absolute banger!

Completed this game on about everything and I never tire of it, some of the best combat, pacing and dialogue ever put to a video game!
