Peak platforming and level design, bogged down by suckiness. The bonus rooms are actually pathetic, like seriously how did this get past playtesting.

Tropical freeze is pretty much a net improvement over this game. Vehicle sections give you an extra hit, and the graphics/music are further improved. Unfortunately the bonus rooms still suck.

The Zelda team just don't seem to miss. I'm actually dying of excitement for Tears of the Kingdom.

Pros
- Banger soundtrack once again
- The combat isn't my favourite in the series, but I would say that it is the most refined out of any Zelda game
- Dungeon design was massively improved over Windwaker
- So much enemy and boss variety
- Beyblade

Cons
- Midna is so annoying, why does she make sex groans every time I run
- Artstyle hasn't ages quite as well as Windwaker
- Final boss fight isn't great
- The lack of auto-saves is a little annoying
- A little too much back-and-forth repetitiveness towards the end
- The musical elements seem forced
- Combat is too easy (like all pre-botw games)

Overall, I can't say if it's better or worse than Windwaker or Skyward Sword, because the Zelda team are just so consistent with their games.

Don't even know how a game like this gets thought of in the first place, but it's pretty sick. I wouldn't neccessarily call it an "elegant evolution of the puzzle genre", as it's pretty much just a glorified point and click adventure. It can get very confusing at times (mainly because I'm dumb), but once you start solving puzzles at a fast pace, there's nothing more satisfying.

Cool social idea, pretty poor execution. I like the fact that the difficulty goes down if there aren't as many players playing, however I don't like that the difficulty straight up resets after a little bit. I was so close to getting it at 9000 difficulty, and then I just did it the next day without any challenge. Now all you need to do is wait for the reset.

I guess it's free so there isn't much point NOT getting it. Not really worth your time imo (unless you want steam achievements).

Seeing myself become king was still cool though.

In summary, the gameplay is poor, while everything else is near perfect.

The biggest issue is that the game plays itself. Cutscenes are 'interactive' for no reason, and half of the 'gameplay' is just slow and boring tasks like looting or shit shovelling. Horse riding is done for you, shooting is done for you, you have no freedom in anything. The game tells you exactly where to go, and exactly what button to press when you get there. Shooting is admittedly quite fun though.

The open world allows for more freedom, and I wish that they managed to replicate this freedom into the missions as well.

I spent hours just chilling at the camp with the squad. The amount of dialogue written for every character is astonishing. This was definitely my favourite part of the game. Unfortunately, you are forced to walk at a snails pace around the camp.

This game is a slog, and usually I prioritise gameplay over anything, but that was not the case this time. RDR2 proved that gameplay isn't everything, but it also proved that realism can go too far in videogames.

Great narrative, with a truckload of glitches and a slightly lacklustre ending sequence (albeit more realistic than what people expected).

It was way more tense than I was expecting. The suspense was actually insane!

This was way better than I was expecting. It's clear that 'Worst 3D Zelda' doesn't mean 'bad 3D Zelda'.

Pros:
- Dungeon design is actually so much better than other Zelda's imo.
- The combat might actually be my favourite in the series
- Super well made boss fights!
- Music is pretty good overall. The Loftwing theme slaps.
- Story was actually pretty good. Every person in Skyloft had character (unlike something like BOTW)
- All of the quality of life improvements are actually a godsend

Cons:
- Artstyle grew on me, but it's still somehow inferior to Windwaker and Twilight Princess
- Controls are finicky, whichever control scheme you choose
- The reused the worst bossfight 3 times for some reason
- The sky was slightly disappointing. It could've been more like Windwaker's sea if it were fully realized.
- There are too many fetch quests later on in the game
- Stamina when climbing and running are slightly pointless
- The game still holds your hand too much, although I'm grateful that it's less than in the original
- Link has like 3 different states of existence. Gasping, wide open mouth, or deadass look.
- No camera usage when sprinting for literally no reason
- HD rumble isn't used unfortunately

Having played more of the pre BOTW Zelda's, I understand why so many people were disappointed with it. BOTW lacks so much of what made this game special.

This game blew past my expectations, which were already very high. I just don't understand how this game can fit in so much variety, when massive AAA titles can barely make a complete game in 5 years.

One thing I'd like to highlight is the movement. Just moving around in the world is fun, which subconsciously improves the overall experience.

With the amount of variety that there is, it's very surprising to see that there weren't any stinker levels. Every new gimmick was fun and none overstayed their welcome.

The visuals are top notch for how well the game runs (given it's split screen). One of the best artstyles of this generation.

Music, set pieces, and bosses were all fantastic too, however it would take too long to highlight every single aspect that makes the game great.

The writing is just okay. It's not bad by any means, however it isn't a narrative that will blow you away. It definitely gets better as time goes on though.

For those complaining about difficulty, I think it's made up by the optional minigames that you can play. These were some of the best parts of the game, and the difficulty is determined by how good you both are at videogames.

You won't find a better made co-op game than this.

both of the fruit memory levels are pretty boring compared to the other stages. I don't know if the stage selection is random, but it definitely seems like some stages get picked more than others. Apart from that, it's a really fun game.

This game would be on par with some of the best sidescrollers if either the game was harder, or if Kirby controlled better.

Pros:
- Incredibly well designed levels, with little to no repetition
- Banging music
- Gorgeous settings for each level (would look amazing in HD)

Cons:
- Some mech copies kinda suck, as they are lacking moves
- Game is fairly easy (although that's expected for kirby)
- I personally dislike Kirby's movement in general (luckily the mech movement is slightly better)
- Game's artstyle is clearly made for 3D (but I have a 2DS)

77

A absolutely stunning game, with horror elements that are both better and worse than the first game.

Pros:
- Graphics and artstyle are some of the best in the entire gaming industry
- Tension is built very well and some enemies can be very unnerving
- The game is overall more polished than the first (as you would expect).
- The game had no stinker levels (arguably the final level), while the first game slowly declined in quality.

Cons
- Might just be me, but this game has a lot more 'action' than the last game. Too many chase scenes and 'combat' segments
- The game felt incredibly scripted. There is exactly one solution to every scenario, which made the game incredibly easy.
- I don't really understand the implications of the ending. That's probably just me though.
- Six died so many times in my playthrough, causing her to inexplicably respawn out of nowhere
- Depth perception was possibly even worse in this game than the first.

Overall, I'd say that this game is slightly better than the first. I was probably more scared playing the first, but the second was more consistent with it's quality.

It's exactly what the description says it is. Nothing more, nothing less. Very well made puzzles, with many different interesting ideas.

Dunno what's going on but it's sick. So much variety in gameplay, and there is still much more to come!

Spyro 1:
The game is just okay overall. Collecting stuff is fun, however there isn't really anything special about it. The movement feels outdated (which it is), the graphics are as basic as you can get, the writing is atrocious, and the music isn't anything to write home about. Level design is pretty solid, but it's been outclassed by more recent platformers and collectathons.
