Your dad wasn't a hero, wasn't your knight in shining armor. He was a human being. You never knew him, and you never will. The dad walking around in your head isn't even a ghost, he never existed. A frankenstein's monster, a child's fantasy - but you're alive. Your mother is alive. She is not the monster you make her out to be. You need to live your life, Cheryl. #traumacore #mentalillness #crying

THIS GAME IS DOGSHIT RARRGHHHHH

Mega Man fans are too receptive to Capcom's bullshit. Their sheer incompetence during the 7th gen has been well-documented, and all they've done since to rectify their countless missteps is a single Mega Man game. Despite the fanbase turning around and making MM11 the best-selling game in the franchise, we're at 5 years since its release, the 35th anniversary has came and went and Capcom has shown no sign of a new game. Instead, we got X Dive.

Now unlike most people, I'm no stranger to gacha games. I've tried many, and I've enjoyed many. As a result of my lack of seething hatred for them, I was more hopeful than most when the game was first announced. I went into it with an open mind, lasted about a week, and then dropped it out of boredom. It's not a good gacha game, nor is it an acceptable Mega Man game by any stretch of the imagination. Haphazard level design that felt AI-generated. Grindy progression that is simultaneously boring and tedious. Borderline incomprehensible english translation. From head to toe, the game hardly had any redeeming factors. Playing as various characters across the entire franchise would be neat, if not for the fact that playing the game itself is a complete slog. I would genuinely rather beat X6 and X7 back-to-back than consider booting this garbage up again. And then they had the gall to charge 30 bucks for this slop, despite essentially just removing the gacha system and leaving the rest of the game's myriad problems. You can buy entire series' in the franchise for that price.

The existence of the game is damn near insulting. Hell, we can't even say the game is funding new projects, like the Star Ocean gacha or Fate/Grand Order did, given the game failed and died after a woeful 2-3 years (and there are no new projects to speak of). Not to mention they're making and selling NFTs to promote it too.

It's basically another episode of Bad Boxart Mega Man. The fanservice at least could've been cool if it weren't for Capcom's continued incompetence and the franchise circling the drain. And if I hear one more Capcom cockguzzler say "this should be the standard for mobages", you're gonna see me on the evening news.

Suckin' up his own cover art! Amazing

My dark secret is that I'm a Mario fan who's never previously played the Gameboy Mario Land games and this is my first play of one. I was pretty impressed! Tight levels with smart concepts throughout. While I think the minigames themselves are pretty garbage (especially the 999 coin one), spending coins on things in-game seems like a better use of them than just 1-ups. Visually, this is surprisingly expressive and unique, the scrolling pipe animations caught me off guard.

I know that none of the Land games are anything like each other but I'm looking forward to playing them soon! (Side note: It's crazy that we've had GB on NSO for over 6 months and still no Land 1. Not sure why Nintendo is doing that.)

As a non-competitive player I can tell that this Cs2 update wasn't made for me. I feel very forced out of the game. While the game is prettier it killed all of the workshop maps made for cs:go. And while you the authors can port them to source 2. There's so many factors that get in the way of that. Like the author not having the time, will, or not even being online anymore. Accessing workshop maps or community servers requires messing with that console now. All that work has just been hidden away. They've also removed all the War games party modes like Arms race. (as of launch)

Counter-Strike has been moving further and further into the competitive scene as the years go on and this update entirley replacing cs:go just feels like officially being told to leave the party.

It's okay when Valve does it. They are so lucky they've got Olympic dickriders in every sector.

Es igual, es igual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turning GG into a stripped-down Street Fighter clone is bad enough but the real tragedy is that thousands of goobers who never listened to anything but video game music got gaslit into believing this is a good soundtrack

when eres el mejor juego de virtual boy

Damn, I had to add this game to IGDB myself. So yeah, to the two other Backloggd users in the universe that have played this game, you're welcome.

VERY cool game to try out, ESPECIALLY if you enjoyed Hellsinker, as this game was made by the same developer before it. As it turns out, there are a ton of stuff in this game that carried over to Hellsinker. Atypical weapons, enemy types and attacks, SOL/LUNA/STELLA, branching level paths, and even some of the music, among other things.

But holy goddamn, don't expect to beat this shit anytime soon. Tonnyori must've been out of his fucking mind back then because it's ten times harder than Hellsinker ever was. You've got a 2x2 hitbox and a rechargeable shield, and you better utilize that and every other tool available to you because the game will NOT relent. The game bends you over and prepares the punishment as early as Stage 1, jesus christ. But it's so much fucking fun, even if I can't actually beat the game. I was able to get past the first phase of the final boss on one credit though, and I'm really proud of that.

EDIT: For anyone else having difficulty running the game, make sure to switch your computer's locale to JP (or use the Locale emulator) before you run the game, and download the d3drm.dll file and put it in the same directory as the .exe.

The best game of them all. The pinnacle of detail, craftsmanship, and intrigue.
