I think both Ori games are just very average metroidvanias. No real challenge on any fights and exploration is so barebones. Will of the Wisps introduced a charm like system with real weapons as an attempt to introduce better combat but it really didn't hit with me.

Not a fan of Bethesda, shooters, or Fallout. Some of the quests were pretty cool though for what you could within them. Don't really care about the overall story.

I definitely got suckered into buying this from the demo and my lack of experience with Dragon Quest. The almost 8 hour demo made it seem like things would get really interesting combat wise and teasing 2 new party members even more. Played it until the post game ending just hoping at some point it would get fun but just never did. Biggest regret because it was just way too generic and lmao music.

Expected a lot more from what people were saying about this one. Didn't care for the one take gimmick and the story was just ok. Combat was hurt so much when half the bosses are the shitty troll. Really needed more fights like the valkyries and less time with dumb crafting.

The weakest 3d mario to me but still a decent game.Cappy and the movement is the best its ever been. Lots of stars were just way too simple and could have benefited from removing 75% of them. New Donk City is a huge highlight.

No nostalgia, playing it 20 years too late and after the remake so already in a weird position. Combat is atrocious with the only saving grace being how fun messing with materia is. Enjoyed finding out how the story played but see no reasons to ever touch this again.

The worst of the modern trilogy. Pretty shitty one more combat with tactics if you wanted to play it honest which makes it just not fun. Tartarus is awful especially when you know they can make good dungeons from other games. Story was the biggest letdown because 1 week something would happen then it would go quiet for 2 months until the final act of the game when stuff actually happens. The Answer was pretty good though and an interesting take on the gameplay with the finale.

The best generation with 2 regions and insane music. Gen2 had some of the biggest contributions like breeding, time events, held items, and Steel/Dark types. Really not sure what people are talking about with level balance being off.

Yes the avatar ruins a lot of the story moments but just goes back to story not mattering in FE. Gameplay easily carries this for me as they balanced some of the insane forges. Pots were a good addition for map prep making every 1st turn feel impactful. Lots of useless recruits but had proper gaiden chapters at least. Save points are great.

One of the best 3d mario. FLUDD was an ok addition but the FLUDDless levels are very good. The setting is very cozy and I loved every area. Yeah blue coins suck so I guess the game is trash.

Yes the characters are dogshit but I also played through conquest so just laugh and ignore. Love the gameplay changes to rebalance smirking especially light/dark. Music is still great and they at least tried at a couple of dungeons here. The finale and dlc are the huge highlights here.

Really liked most of the cases and didn't mind the amount of times you swapped between the attorneys. The dlc case did feel like cut content rather than additional content.

Can understand why people rate it low after probably experiencing the other gba games first. Actually has a good difficulty compared to other gba titles. Maps were very good and unit balance is all over the place. Story was good because your main character sucked.
