It hit all the right notes for me. The only problem is those stupid out of nowhere QTE in the cutscenes. Cheap and completely pointless instant deaths.

Emily rocks and the story was damn solid. I will always love these games, no matter how stupid I am at solving puzzles. Layton is one of the best protagonist in video game history.

Dark Souls improved many aspects of the gameplay, but I still have a soft spot for this game.

2001

More games really need to understand that the lack of music can improve the experience. Just hearing your footsteps in this game and the sound of the enviroment is enough too hook you in it's atmosphere.

People saying this is an underrated masterpiece might be in the biggest gaslight crusade in the history of videogames.

It is truly a key point in videogame history, even if the final segments are kind of lackluster.

Fun combat and interesting story, but it's one of those rpgs where if you don't do VERY specific things you get a terrible lame ending.

Hands in absolute pain after 5 minutes of gameplay: the true old school Tekken experience.

Got stuck in the mines where every single german soldier has a rocket launcher.

All right time to do some badass mean yakuza stuff!

gives plushies from the arcade to a little girl

sends postcards to radio station

dance all night long at the disco

help teaching those yanki bad boys to behave real tough

It's yakuzing time...

Pretty decent port considering this was for the Saturn at a time where 3D graphics were still on diapers. It's obviously not arcade perfect but it plays just the same.

Best pro wrestling alien invasion rpg you will ever play.

I never got the meme humour of this game. While the gameplay is interesting at first I lost interest pretty quickly.

You have no idea where to go? Enemies can one shot kill your entire party? Welcome to the world of SMT games my friend...

Gameplay is broken but the game truly has a unique atmosphere and story.
