unparalleled freedom of exploration. nothing else even comes close
somehow manages to be heartrending, utterly repulsive, and absolutely fucking hilarious whenever it wants. a very, very, very unique experience to say the least
played this at a very vulnerable point in my life and it managed to resonate with me in pretty much every way. the mundane daily life, the social links with several people who aren't really all that interesting - even things you probably considered flaws about p3 just heightened my immersion that much more
this isn't one of the worst games i've played by any means but it frustrates me because of how fun it is to control despite the stages themselves being so boring and unencouraging towards experimentation
i think what floors me the most about this game is that there's people who vehemently defend it even though it's just a shittier mishmash of mechanics and ideas from better games fronted by the same producer

melodramatic and boring. ultros aside celes is the only halfway decent character. terra is especially snooze tier and kefka sucks balls

all mystery authors should be forced to read this so that they know exactly how not to craft their stories

1. piss poor alignment choices
2. no consequence for death
3. smirking is broken in player favor
4. jade dagger is forced backtracking
5. demon whisper is way too exploitable
6. fusion is too lenient
