Everything on Backloggd with a 4.0 rating and 1,000 plays

112 / 290, not too bad.
can you do a list of "4+ rating games but less popular" by any chance
What do you mean by less popular specifically? Making a list of every game that has above a 4.0 would be difficult because Backloggd doesn't have a way to sort the entire database by rating.
You can use this page if you want to see every game with more than 550 plays and a 4.0 rating: https://www.backloggd.com/games/lib/rating/

so how can I view games with 3.9 with 1k+ plays for example. Is there option/filter for this?
There's no way to both sort by rating and filter by number of plays, which is why I made this list.
what will you do if Backloggd's threshold will get over 1k?
I'm assuming by threshold you mean the number of plays a game needs to show up when you browse the entire database by rating. If that gets over 1000, it won't be much of a problem because I add games to this list by sorting by popularity, and then grabbing anything with a 4.0 when it hits 1000 plays. The only issue would be if a game hits 1000 plays when its rating is under 4.0, and then moves to a 4.0 rating before its number of plays reaches the threshold, which seems unlikely.
Also, the threshold is currently less than 700, so it'll be a while before that happens.

missing the binding of isaac rebirth; 4.0 with 13k plays
It's on there already, look under B.
Wanted to thank you for a list like this, it's been helpful with some projects I wanted to work on.
Of note is that by pure happenstance I noticed that Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection isn't on this list: it's more than 1k plays and has a score of 4.1

@ramonzero0: Thanks, added.
Thank you again for the update! Also, since having multiple entries on this list seems to be a thing, there's one version of Assassin's Creed II that has a rating of 4.04 and 2K plays missing as well
The GameCube version of Soulcalibur II also has a rating of 4 and 1.1k plays
Last one I've noticed off this stretch which may barely count for this but Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies has a rating of 3.97 and apparently just hit 1k plays
@ramonzer0: Thanks. As long as it shows up as 4.0 on the game's page it's good for this list.
Yo, I've actually seen this list before. Unlike your top 250, this one features duplicates, collections and DLCs. May I ask why you treat this list different in that regard? I'm not judging or anything, just curious.
@Bakkestaffen: I made this list first, and then later made the top 250 as a way to "clean up" this list. Back in 2020 there weren't enough popular, highly rated games for a full top 250, this site has gotten a lot bigger since then.
any chance you would tag in the games' description if they are/have been in the top 250 list as well? thank you for both lists
@chump a couple things:
1) It would bring attention to non tagged games, leaving a clear distinction between games which were always represented in the charts and "sleeper hits"
2) It would highlight the most popular version of said games, just like the top 250, which is pretty useful since this list has a lot of duplicates from different editions of games
3) Tagging would allow you to view this information by sorting the list in any way, instead of being restricted to sorting by average rating (which would give pretty much the same result as the official backloggd chart). This would allow for viewing how many older games versus more recent games were present in the top 250, or how many games of said franchise, among other things.
This is only a suggestion, of course. If you find it useless or too time consuming that's fine.

@palceu: I see your point, though I'm not sure tagging games on this list would be the most effective way to get those things done. Would you be interested if I made another list with games that meet the criteria for the top 250 but aren't highly rated enough to be on it? I think that would also somewhat fulfill @Bakkestaffen's suggestion from earlier.
Ace Combat 5 also just hit the criteria
