My friends forced me to play COD so now I’m forcing them to play this and all is finally right in the world again

Together, somehow, we will defeat mommy Lilith

Overall, fun Bond video game based on one of the best movies in the series.

It’s so cool to see Connery reprise the role in the game and better still, he actually seemed to be putting energy into it unlike his performances in You Only Love Twice and Diamonds Are Forever. If you watch the behind the scenes footage, he seemed very excited about the project, not only to be playing Bond again, but in a video game that his grandchildren will play. As old as he sounds in a younger Bond, I think that was still the best course of action. Even the other voice actors sound like the actors from the original film.

The gameplay is very fun and the 60’s feel is captured very well. We even have the jet pack from Thunderball and the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger, which aren’t in the actual film. The levels are well-designed despite some confusing turns and they move at a good pace. For a 2005 game, the characters do look like the actors from the film and have good detail. I do wish the special ammo and normal ammo could be used automatically since it gets annoying switching between the two. But the navigation and the menu needed some work.

The story is very much the same as the film’s, but it still works in the video game format. Bond is after the Lektor while the forces of OCTOPUS intend to stop him. It is a shame they couldn’t use the SPECTRE name due to that stupid lawsuit, which makes the experience feel less immersive. There are some extra sequences such as the opening and the fight with Red Grant inside a mechanized suit, but they don’t take away from the experience, however I would’ve preferred to fight Grant in the train, like in the film, since it’s such an iconic moment. I wouldn’t mind if it’s just button mashing.

A well-adapted video game adaptation of the film. Any Bond fan out that likes video games should enjoy this experience. While it’s a bit clunky in areas, it stands on its own and it’s a fun experience.

One of my favs shooters of all time, the world is fantastic
the guns in this game are creative and fun to use
the main antagonist is one of the best villains in gaming history and all the dlc's are worth and fun

Bom igual os antigos ou até melhor. Cherry Hunter tem um moveset FODA, satisfatório e bonito de ver. Minha nova personagem favorita.

a bit slower then the second game and the world not as interesting but still a fun game with cool concepts and fun guns

Final Kart Fantasy Review

Chocobo GP... what can be said about this apparent Mario Kart clone? Initially, it's important to acknowledge that while it bears a striking resemblance to MK, it manages to carve out its own identity with considerable finesse. Although it falls short of the lofty standards set by classics like MK 8, it admirably fulfills its primary purpose: delivering an entertaining kart racing experience complete with power-ups. The game offers a variety of modes including story mode, free race, championship, and online multiplayer.

The game's storyline is simplistic and arguably superfluous, especially considering that titles like MK8 don't emphasize narrative. However, since progression through the story mode is essential for unlocking certain characters, players are compelled to engage with it. While it's skippable, those who delve into it may find amusement in the witty banter and occasional fourth-wall breaks from the characters.

Regarding character selection, Chocobo GP boasts an impressive roster drawn from the Final Fantasy universe, ranging from beloved classics like Chocobos and Black Mage (VIVI!!! <3) to iconic figures such as Cloud, Leon, and Terra, alongside entities like Titan, Ifrit, and White Mage. Each character is customizable, offering a diverse array of karts and outfits to personalize your experience. Despite the abundance of unlockable content, including characters, outfits, and karts, the game falls short in terms of track diversity, with designs that feel somewhat uninspired compared to titles like Crash Team Racing or MK8. The soundtrack, typically a highlight in Final Fantasy games, is serviceable but lacks any standout moments, predominantly comprising revamped versions of franchise classics.

Gameplay-wise, Final Kart Fantasy adheres to the tried-and-tested formula of kart racing with power-ups, requiring players to collect items—represented as eggs—that grant spells such as Firaga and Blizzard. Each character also possesses a unique special ability, offering varying advantages ranging from increased speed to offensive maneuvers against opponents.

In summary, while Final Kart Fantasy may not revolutionize the genre or achieve groundbreaking heights, it undeniably offers an enjoyable experience, albeit with notable challenges, even on the easiest difficulty due to the overly aggressive AI. Fans of the Final Fantasy franchise or kart racing enthusiasts may find it worth their time, particularly if acquired during a sale, as the full price may not entirely justify its value.

combining modern cod with a bad battle royale type of gameplay might be one of the worst fps experiences i ever had

first of all the prep time is way to much,is like 5 minutes to find a match, another 2 minutes for it to start and another minute just dropping into the map,you already have there 8 minutes in a match when nothing has happened.

before i make any other comments first i want to state the main problem that makes this game awful,is the idea itself.look cod gameplay loop and low ttk only works because there are quick respawns and a small map size,it makes for addicting gameplay and the game needs to be not that punishing when they kill you because a lot of the kills in cod in general comes from luck who see who first.

warzone throws all of this out of the fucking window, the maps are way too big and open, making for you to find an enemy and go from place to place take a lifetime, but when you do is more likely than not them shooting you from 700 feet away with a sniper rifle or other long range weapons,so you most likely will be killed with no counter measure.

also most of the maps that they be adding recently are honestly awful, the only thing that maked old warzone maps cool was the city battles where you can go to the skycrapers and shit, but recently they only be adding deserts that had near no buildings.

the low ttk is also awful for a battle royale, battle royales need to have high ttk because getting killed in 5 seconds when you have prep during a match for 20 minutes sucks, thats why good battle royales have high ttk like apex or fortnite

and something i actually like from this game is the gulag, but honestly winning it is kind of worthless since first, you most likely will be killed inmediatly after respawning because since you spawn close to where you die,the guy that just kills you can stay close and try to kill you, that most of the time they will, and even when you dont fight those rats, you have really low chance to succeed since you have absolutely no loot and deep in the game that is a death sentence,so most of the time is just more worth it to search for a new game.

and even past all of that, the gameplay still feels awful, ttk is incosistent, the game is extremely luck based,it has awful clunky movement especially vertical wise, controller players have unfair advantage, the game is badly balanced,it just doesnt feel good

also there isnt anything interest story, aesthetic or sound wise in this game and the cosmetics are just mostly trash and forgettable

the only good thing i can say about this game is that is fun to watch people playing it or streaming it,but playing it yourself is a completely different experience

also is most likely fun playing it with friends, but what game isnt right?

strong 0 to light 1

This game is more linier then the previous title but its not a bad thing, I prefer this one of the first one since its easier to travel and explore the world while expanding the combat making it more fun while still remaining challenging even tho not all areas are treated with the same love or attention they are still good. The story is still fantastic and the boss designs are still top tier specially with the first 3 main bosses and the second to last boss

i thought it was incredibly sweet, incredibly touching, especially the main story and vinegars
but the gameplay grew tedious and grindy.... could have worked better as a pure vn maybe....

This is a weird one. The first shooter that got me through the game mostly on it's story. Shooting mechanics are really basic. Take cover, peek shoot. There are silencers which are used maybe twice in the game. There are diverse weapons, but they mostly feel the same. And they do feel good. The story however is the main thing about this game. Sidekicks get just enough screen time that you get attached to them and you get the kind of relationship they have with main protagonist. Game compels you to go forward and seek the plot. There are some gut-wrenching moments in the game. The story is what makes this a great play.

Great game i would go as far as to say that i prefer it over elden ring thats why the little misses it has are so frustrating, i want to give this game a perfect score i really do but with how awful the PC optimization is i just cant. I will get the negatives out of the way first, there is no Bz theme song and it hurts my soul, the story only gets interesting in the final 5 to 7-ish hours of the game and thats only if you are going for the true ending. Now for the positives, everything about DD1's odd game design decisions was fixed or improved, everything feels very dynamic and natural from encounters with enemies to how the fights go, there is just something so exhilarating about an flying enemy about to escape and you jumping on its back, letting it carry you to the other side of the map while you are relentlessly trying to take it down mid air. Although i miss the electric guitar undertones of the first game the ost of dd2 is pretty good especially when you bring a large enemy to low hp and the music kicks up its moments like that which really make the game. There is not much to be said besides this is a better version of dragons dogma (if you dont mind the fps drops on pc) if you plan on getting this game please consider getting it on console or wait for the pc port to get fixed if it ever does.

The praise this game gets confuses me. Breath of the Wild itself was nothing particularly earthshattering, and this game is just Breath of the Wild again. The problem is that what made BOTW novel is not anymore. We've seen this type of expansive open world before. It's not impressive anymore.

Of course, more land was added, but what was added is half as much of what was worth exploring in BOTW. The skylands mostly exist for dungeons and chests, nothing more or less. There isn't enough landmass up there aside from the tutorial zone for it to feel like a whole new second map. The underground zone too is stagnant, introducing an annoying gimmick with an intense difficulty spike that makes exploring it a pain.

I understand that the new building system is technically impressive. I'm a game designer, I see this. However, just because something is impressive does not make it good. The fusing system itself does allow for a bunch of interesting puzzles, but it's the same gimmick reused for every single puzzle. Eventually, this mechanic too has its novelty wear off, and unless you have a degree in engineering or loved Banjo Kazooie Nuts 'n' Bolts too much, you won't be getting a lot out of it. Yes, it is impressive what it can do and that it functions at all, and the possibilities available to players is commendable. It is a feat in design that a lot of these puzzles have more than one solution. Yet the game does not force you to create anything super outside the box. While I said most puzzles have more than one solution, it is made very clear that there is 1 "right" way and every other solution is a player either a: intentionally breaking the game or b: not understanding the signs. Nowhere are you challenged to make an army of inter-continental strike drones. You can, and those who know how will, but this will never cross the mind of the average player. Had this game pushed the bounds of what this system could do perhaps I could find more praise for it. But they don't, it exists as simply a gimmick to justify the long development time and to show off a shiny new tech thing.

With this games announcement we were promised a much heavier story focus. We got slightly more story than BOTW. What we got was quite decent honestly, but it was the same egghunt from before to find all these things. This time, you just couldn't skip the intro story segment. What they gave us simply didn't carry the weight it should.

The intense amount of continuity errors are annoying too. The game hints to why this may be, but it simply does not make sense. This game likes the idea of being a direct sequel while also being too caught up in trying to rewrite it's own history. Where are the Divine Beasts? Where are the Guardians? Where is the fucking Shrine of Resurrection? Things vital to BOTW have vanished without a trace and the game refuses to explain itself. It should have, anyone who played BOTW would have noticed all of this immediately. There needs to be a reason for the sudden disappearance, and I sure would have liked to see it totally explained than just hoping I will take "time travel shenanigans" as an answer.

Tears of the Kingdom looks at what Breath of the Wild did well and misunderstands why it did well. The open world was good because it was so vast and nothing like any game had had before. Now, we have the same open world with minor variance, causing less desire to explore, and the marvel of such a vast world is now lost since it was done before. Of course, following up something like BOTW would prove to be a monolithic task regardless. Instead of improving the things BOTW did wrong, like the dungeons and puzzles, to try and succeed it's predecessor, it simply creates new things that solve nothing. Tears of the Kingdom prays its rehashed world with new zones will be enough to entice the player for the same hundreds of hours we all dumped into BOTW.

This game will forever be shadowed by it's predecessor. Not because the task was too big, but because they did not focus on the right things. Perhaps if Breath of the Wild never released, this game would be far better. Instead, it is a expansion in disguise as a $70 videogame. Shameless.

Just like Polyphia, just because something is hard to do does not immediately justify a perfect score. In a vacuum, the new system is very good, but the game simply does not allow for it to be as good as it can be, and in an attempt to perfect this feat in physics engineering and simulation, Nintendo seemingly forgot about the other aspects that make a Zelda game a Zelda game.

Bombastic boss battles, amazing soundtrack, the high moments were so very high for this game, but the "The crystals have decided our fate for long enough" advertising tag line was negated when the JRPG God boss said that he wanted us to defeat them all along. The side quests had some great payoff, but were often MMO-tedious. I wish they could have included the important content in a meaningful way and trimmed the game down - because this is an action game, not an RPG. It could have been a concise 20 hours like DMC5 (they share the combat director coincidentally) and been fine.

My issues with the story aside, this game was so much fun to play and I look forward to playing the DLC when it is all released. Maybe a Final Fantasy mode replay in the future, but not right away. Too many games to still play for the first time!

The MTX is stupid as hell (and the fact that so many people on the internet are just straight up lying about what’s actually being offered is worse). The PC port at launch was inexcusably bad. It shouldn’t have come with Denuvo. Capcom sucks in a myriad of different ways. And yet. AND YET!!!

The thing about me is that I think that the most irritating thing about the games industry right now, aside from the heinous abuse of employees, is the refusal to let anything be spikey. Every game is trying so fucking hard to shave off its own harsh edges, narratively and re: gameplay, lest they invite the rage of GamersTM who think the only reason a game should possibly exist is to make them feel good and powerful and godlike. Sometimes they continue to shave off harsh edges POST-RELEASE (and ooooh boy do I have thoughts about how Bioware softening ME3’s ending because of fan backlash to anything that challenges them or makes them feel less important starts the domino effect that we now see with Larian making Lae’zel nicer on the game’s 80th patch because of fan backlash to anything that challenges them or makes them feel less important, but we’d be here all day). I just want a game that MAKES CHOICES, particularly ones that DON’T center the player or put them on a pedestal, and I want games that commit to those choices! Even if those choices annoy me I just love that they MADE THEM. I believe that games are art, and sometimes art is going to exist to make you angry or annoyed or helpless or uncomfortable!

I played on a beefy rig and have the technical know-how to circumvent most of the performance issues other PC gamers experienced, so my gameplay was smooth like butter. Neither of these things should be required for the game to run well at launch, and it’s awful that it was. But at the same time, good fucking LORD I haven’t had this much fun with a game world in ages. All the vocations feel fun to play, it’s a genuine joy to wander through the world and see what deranged bullshit the game is going to heap on me (a dragon and a griffon at once while I go on a stroll with my girlfriend’s dad! Sure, why not!). The pawns’ and NPCs’ AIs are custom built for Looney Tunes level physical comedy. It’s so fucking great. And most of all, a glorious return to real intentional friction that isn’t just Souls-style “it’s really hard!”

I want MORE games that are this punishing about deaths! I want MORE games that limit fast travel like this! I want MORE games that fight super hard to prevent save scumming and which force you to commit to the consequences of your actions! I want MORE games that allow literally anyone to die! I want MORE games that can break in major ways if I fuck off or don’t read or care about mechanics properly! ABANDON ALL DELUSIONS OF CONTROL, GAMERS! Not EVERY game should be like this, obviously, but right now the ONLY kind of game that feels like it’s allowed to exist (particularly from major publishers) is one that has as much friction removed as possible, that are smooth and shiny and boring. It’s genuinely mind-blowing that a game that is THIS unconcerned with the player was published at all, let alone that a significant number of people are buying and playing it. That tells me that there’s a genuine hunger for this sort of experience. That makes me SO EXCITED!

The world and setting and lore are all fascinating and its commentary on the fourth wall is so fun. The plot’s thin and most of the characters are barely there, but it SO succeeds at what it sets out to do, which is create a world that it’s fun and insane to explore and suffer through. I have my squabbles, obviously (give me more enemy types!) but by and large it’s exactly what I want out of an open world game. I desperately hope that the deranged discourse (and the way so much of the discourse revolves around the idea that friction shouldn’t exist and that a game should, above all, cater to the player, make everything easy for the player, adore the player) doesn’t prevent more stuff like this getting made. A game that so fully nails the “exploring an unforgiving world with your gang of idiots” niche that DD2 has with more character and plot focus would be, genuinely, the perfect game. Please lord let me have this. PLEASE!!
