Can games with a Hotel as a stage count? Since Super Mario Sunshine is present here

I say it should count, as long as the hotel level is as long as any other level in the game.

Silent Hill 2 off the top of my head.

de Blob's first stage revolves around restoring a hotel/resort

Ace Attorney: Justice for All has a lot of the final case set in a hotel

Sly 3 has a few sections of the 3rd Chapter set in a Hotel either to steal something or interact to the villains

Hitman Codename 47/Contracts have stages set in Hotels

Hotel Magnete is self explanatory lol

Also i don't know of these counts but Sonic Adventure has a hotel in Station Sqaure and (if we're stretching) No More Heroes/Miitopia has you return to a Motel/Inn after major missions/levels

I'm not sure if smaller games made as a part of a collection count but if they do, Trivia Murder Party 2 from The Jackbox Party Pack 6 (and the Jackbox Party Starter) takes place entirely in a hotel

If just having a hotel level counts, then Paper Mario: Color Splash has a level set in the Dark Bloo Inn

Also I just remembered Minit has a hotel you help build up for one the quests

Would the Stock Pot Inn from Majora's Mask and the Ghost Hotel from Final Fantasy 7 count?

@BigGnome I think the kinds of hotels are looking for are big, multiple-story type hotels, since I tend to enjoy how they're presented in games, so the inn in Majora's Mask isn't exactly what I'm looking for. But I'll look into it later to see if maybe I'm wrong.

Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney has the 2nd case - Turnabout Sisters - happening almost entirely on a hotel, and this hotel keeps being mentioned in later cases.

Duke Nukem 3D has a level in a hotel called "Hotel Hell"
Blood (1997) has a level called "The Overlooked Hotel" (a reference to the Overlook Hotel from The Shining)
I'm pretty sure the casinos on the strip in Fallout: New Vegas double as hotels if you wanna count those

- The hotel "L'Hôtel de Rennes-le-Château" from Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned definitely plays a prominent role
- Circle of Blood (aka Broken Sword) has the luxurious (and prominent) "Hotel Ubu"
- Black Mirror 2, the hotel "Gordon's Palace" used to be a sanatorium
- The "Merlaut Hotel" from Watch_Dogs is a tall, modern building that is important story-wise but you just go there for one mission

Control - If motels count, the Oceanview Motel is a significant location the player visits throughout the game
