A strange game in that, the initial 67-68 hours I spent playing it was an absolute blast, but those last five or so hour really drained me. It's not the kind of game that should be reasonably 100%'d, and that ending left a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise, it absolutely rules.
Gris feels a tad shallow in its overall blend of how its themes interweave with that the player is actually experiencing. I never felt much of a profound connection between the two and it doesn't justify its visual elements much outside of it being that way for the sake of it. But regardless, it is lovely to look at and I adored the music. I even quite enjoyed its puzzle elements, and while I wasn't impacted much by its story, I had a lot of fun with it.
