games playable with one hand (read description)
no this isnt a masturbation joke
this is a list generally inspired by my own interest of games to look into (or replay) as i suffer a pretty bad condition that affects my arms and legs, which makes using them very challenging/painful, my right arm is mostly okay enough to be used so i often only have that to work with whenever my condition flares up, which is pretty often.
this is made with the mindset that you have a PC (as PC allows much more customization for inputs and such), and also no special equipment such a mouse with as a lot of buttons, or special controllers.
emulation will be taken into account as well (i dont condone piracy, dont take me down pls).
that doesnt exempt console games from being allowed though.
if you suffer from any disabilities or injuries maybe consider looking into this list!
im aware most games can be played one handed with a proper set up, and ive set some up myself with 3rd party programs, but its a hassle im not sure most people are interested in, so this list will be primarily focused on games particularly friendly for this sort of thing outta the box (with some tinkering at most) or just okay enough to be playable with one arm.
whether it be from a plethora of accessibility options, a very simple control scheme or just not intensive/demanding to where it lets you take your time doing things.
suggestions are welcome and highly encouraged, even if i have them played/reviewed on my account already.
that said im going to refrain from putting purely kinetic visual novels on here (ones without any gameplay/interactivity whatsoever outside just reading).

I played through Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver with only the arrow keys recently!
I think FTL is pretty close, all of the game can be controlled with point and click for aiming and decision making, and even pausing can be achieved by using the middle mouse button over the space bar.
Gothic 1 and 2 are surprisingly fully playable with one hand on a keyboard lol
all my games are in boxes right now so i cant look at them to see but im pretty sure a good deal of ds/3ds games can be played with one hand comfortably... professor layton and hotel dusk are good examples
thank you all for the suggestions, ill be adding them shortly
really means a lot!
really means a lot!
I'm pretty sure crypt of the necrodancer is playable with one hand (only uses the arrow keys iirc). Bayonetta also has a one handed mode but that might only be for combat
Xanadu next, works with mouse like other arpgs
thx!!
Tactics games are ideal for this restriction. When I fucked up my hand in an accident hand couldn't use it for a couple of months I played through all of FE Three Houses as well as the entire Banner Saga Trilogy, specifically because they were turn-based games where I could take my time moving my single hand between all the required buttons.
