Uh okay I'm gonna do another like actual review for this one as it is related to something I do hold in a very high regard so.. claps OKAY! This game has me feeling... so conflicted. On one hand, the art style is beautiful, and the presentation in general is honestly on the level of something official. ON THE OTHER HAND. The tutorial is a fucking slog. I know there are passwords now but that is such a band-aid solution to the problem. The driving feels so off compared to SRB2K too. I'm sure I'll get used to it but I am not feeling it right now. another thing, why is every single solitary thing UNLOCKABLE? even fucking online play which is absurd. To be fair, 2.1 has addressed some of that so good on them for that. One last negative before I end on a positive note, the courses... have not exactly been great. I don't know if the tutorial didn't teach me something or what but I have been fumbling around most of the courses I've played and it isn't exactly fun. Last positive though, I like the new mechanics, they add a lot of depth, and strategy which I appreciate! I just wish the controls didn't feel so off. Anyhoo! I hope some of this other stuff gets ironed out, I'll definitely keep up with the game.

the fucking guttural, primal screech my brother and I let out when we saw slicers.

no. just fucking no. i literally don't even have a joke or witty comment for how much i loathe this game to my very core.

oatchi makes so many enemies and bosses his bitch and that's funny cuz he's a dog himself

I hope me being so flabbergasted at how good something is doesn't become a running theme. I like making joke reviews. Okay umm.. rinwell has an owl so as an owl house fan I'm obliged to like her. ...yeah I've got nothing. fuck.

Simply a marked improvement to the previous game in every possible way. the combat feels much more rewarding and satisfying to nail down, the music was amped up to eleven, the visuals while only a marginal improvement, show how incredible the detail and art direction was back then and stands up well now. The best part was again, the story, it was so engaging, heart wrenching and emotional, I stood up all night on two occasions playing the game to see where the story went. I'm going to easily come back to this from time to time in order to obtain the platinum trophy.

First off, this is the best pokemon game I've played in a LONG time. It's designed so well, the game was challenging and fun the whole way through, and while my opinions on the new Pokemon are mixed, it doesn't change how great the game at its core is. HOWEVER. The technical issues are making me dock points.

CRASH NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THAT HOG

A pleasant, but short romp. I felt the controls were a bit, insensitive, and were a bit slippery but I got used to it. Also, clearly someone on the team was going through something when designing the extra mode because HOLY SHIT.

I was so caught off guard by how much I loved this that.. I don't even have a joke prepared. Feels like I get flabbergasted pretty easily LOL

yeah no. I understand the appeal but it's so outdated it isn't even funny. I got to norfair before giving up. Just play Zero Mission, or that one rom hack idk.

I just.. didn't jive with this game. I hate how most bosses seem to be designed, and maybe it's just me not liking open world games much, but i just didn't like playing this game too much.

Very much enjoyed this one, although the controls felt a bit off to me, maybe I just wasn't used to it, but it didn't stop me from having fun.

Very, VERY solid adventure. I didn't feel compelled to go for full completion but it was a very fun game to play, to explore and find collectibles in and such. A recommend from me.

Still one of my favorite Metroid games, although Maridia really sucks I can get over it because I genuinely had a great time playing this again.
