if you play this game with more than two players crash has no eyebrows. you’re welcome.

I'm just... wow this was incredible. It took everything that made the original game great, removed most if not all of the bad things, and then just cranked it all up to a hundred. Play this, I implore you.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. It's considered one of the best games ever made for a reason, and I most certainly consider this one of my favorites, here's to hoping the remake is just as good!

that was amazing. i never want to play it again.

I can at least give the MSX version credit for being well made and if it weren't for the janky feeling controls and awful checkpoint system I would've liked it more and finished it.
...THE NES VERSION BLOWS.

evil computer virus gets norton antivirus shoved up its ass

I liked this one but.. I just don't have the drive or desire to finish it. the problem with Metroid 1 and 2 is that even with a map, navigating and playing is still a pain because of how stupid it is to heal. There are healing stations in this game yes but they're so out of the damn way it's like they're not even there at all. I'll leave this one behind unfortunately.

revised because I played the Japanese easy mode

removing knockback actually makes this game enjoyable

I couldn’t even try to get through this, I played for like 30 minutes and got so bored I wanted to blow my goddamn brains out

Considered one of the best video games ever made for good reason. However I have a couple qualms. I find that backtracking back and forth to get some required powerups annoying. The backtracking itself isn't the issue, it's how often you need to go a VERY long distance for a required upgrade or those fuckin' chozo artifacts. Plus, Phazon Mines suck. Other than that though, fantastic game through and through.

CRASH NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THAT POLAR BEAR

simon's theme kicked in near the end of the final boss like a fuckin shonen anime and honestly I'm here for it

i was never book smart i'm money smart
